Zatarain's Jambalaya Rice has all the seasonings you need for a main dish, add meat, beans or vegetables to make a complete nutritious meal.

Its very tasty, but the spices are pretty strong. Almost too much spice for me. I like to make other more bland sides with it to balance it out. Quick, easy rice mix.

Mix this with an extra 1/2 cup of rice and 1 cup of water. Add 1 jar of the Members Mark organic Marinara sauce and 1 pound of smoked sausage. Top with shredded cheese, these additions help cut the spicy heat to a tolerable level.

Particular taste probably demographic, and not the kind of seasoning I would embrace often. I did mix it with several items, a la fried rice. 3.5 Stars.

one of our Favorite dinners. this is so easy to make and you can just use the directions on the box or we like to add a lot of our own tweeks like jalapeños and hot sauce to give it that extra little something.
