We bought two of these umbrellas a month ago. The umbrella that is in our patio table is doing fine. The umbrella set up with the base that was sold with it is already broken. It fell over a couple times in the wind, and that was it. It cannot be repaired. I need to qualify my answer. I would recommend the umbrella depending on where and how it is going to be used.

This is my 3rd umbrella in 5 yrs. Both my first 2 the cord that is attached to the crank to open the umbrella frayed & snapped!! This is my 3rd and noticed the cord is no longer white but dark brown or black so I HOPE this 3rd one will last! Otherwise the aluminum won't rust & 10' is much better than 9'. Sunbrella fabric held up still looking new in our hot Hawaiian sun and lots of rain so gave it a 4 Star Rating. If this lasts at least 5 years I'll change this to 5 stars.

I bought 3 of these. The first one in Indigo. I loved it so much I bought 2 more an orange one and a striped one. The orange is more like a burnt orange and the striped one looks faded right out of the box. I wish I would have bought all Indigo . They do tip over in any kind of windy weather and I did buy the 60lb umbrella base to go with them. Otherwise they work great for shade around my pool which is why I bought them.

We loved the first umbrella we bought from Sams Club. It worked great and the orange color was bright and beautiful. After 3 yrs, we decided we wanted a different color so we went with red. Love the color but the umbrella won't stay up all of the way nor will it stay tilted. Disappointed and of course we don't have the receipt any longer.
