The roasting date on the bag was five months old. Way too old for craft coffee beans. When I opened the bag the beans looked dry and old, they didn’t have that oily, moist sheen you see on freshly roasted beans. The Luna Roasters web site emphasizes they roast right before they ship, but this wasn’t close. Not sure if the problem was due to them or Sam’s Club. I did email the Roasters and they made apologized and sent me a bag that was roasted the day before shipping.

Excellent, smooth coffee! It’s not too acidic and has a perfectly smooth taste - not too strong and not too weak. Very fresh coffee grounds packaged just days before receiving it in the mail (they date when it was packaged). I love that the coffee is organic!

Good coffee, but must use more to get desired strength and flavor as this is a very light and somewhat dry bean coffee.

If you take the time to grind and brew this at home, you will have boutique coffeehouse brew at a fraction of the cost. WAY better than that green mermaid junk! Try this out if you are a connoisseur and you will not be disappointed...

I had high hopes for this coffee, but was disappointed. There's very little flavor; and since I don't add creamer or sugar, I'd like my coffee to taste good.
