Like everything about this

They deivered quick for something heavy and delivery cost is affordable too. Also they tried to pack as good as they can for a heavy bag. I personally think they do not have to pack anything, just stick the mailing address to the bag and ship it, save time and money and so you can make it even cheaper for customer

First and only Choice, Morton Salt Pellets

Morton Salt Pellets with "Rust Defense" is the best, Being on a Well, you need to have a water softener. I have live in this home for over 40 years now, at first I used whatever softener pellets that I could find, the having to replace the installed Water Softener, because of using "Whatever Pellets" ruined it. I purchased another Softener and was told to use Morton Salt Pellets, The new Softener works well using Morton Pellets, no water spots, clean soft water, No problems with Dishwater, or washing machine, Most of all on white T-shirt, no rust spots. All the water fixtures look as if they are new. I would recommend Morton Water Softener Pellets to anyone . Great Product, No issues at all. Water Softener is still doing its job after years of use

Best for our well

Our well water is very smelly/rotten egg smell. For years I had thought that it was due to high sulfur in the water, but it wasn't. I tried the rust remover salts and the smell went away. Further study showed that iron in the water can lead to bacteria that smells just like sulfur/rotten eggs. Unfortunately, our Rutland, VT has stopped stocking it.

We absolutely love this for our water softener as we have high iron and also iron removing filter. Coming here to purchase it in a pinch, I had a miniature heart attack for the price of it. You can get it at big box stores, such as Menards for a dollar less.

20+ years of using this

Great! We've lived several places, different water softener machines, all with very hard water. This does the job as long as we get the ppm grain setting right on the machines. Never any rust residue with this brand, but we had red residue with other less expensive brands.

Price signage issues

Don't trust the signs for pricing. Product was located in the entry to the store. The sign in front of this product was $7.97. The product rang up for over $9. All of the signs in this area were in the $7 range, so it was not a case of someone moving the sign.

Morton Salt

This is by far the best salt pellets sold anywhere at any price. Helps keep your water system clean and working at its best. Cheaper pellets will cost you more in the long haul because the cheap pellets don't really keep your system clean and functioning at its best. The iron cleans the beads in your softener and that is very important for your water system especially if you have iron.
