Been going back and forth with this and the regular since we have mega hard water and even my galvanized pipes have disintegrated. Might go fully this, eventually, but it's a bit more expensive than the regular. Still, a water softener is way more expensive than better salt!

Have been buying this salt from Sams for years with no problems. Had a problem with the last purchase of salt that really made me wonder if I should buy it again. The pellets were pitted and dirty and made a dirty mess out of my water softener holding tank. I called Sams and they were very helpful and refunded me for a few of the bags. I had the problem with every bag that I had bought in that batch as I used them. Fast fwd. I decided to try another batch and it seems to be back to normal. Hoping for the best because Sams has best price that i can find on salt.

This product is a lot better than the previous salt, I have been using. A friend of mine had recommended it because I told him I was still getting rust in my toilets and he was right I saw a big difference in all my places water is used.

Have to have it for my softener or I would never ever buy any of this crap. It makes a huge mess in the house, basement %26 everywhere I set the bag. But runs great in my softener.

I use this salt routinely for my water softener. It works great and help stop your water systems from rusting out. Our water is super soft!

Great water softener. We had rest in our pipes. I no longer live there anymore, but I still recommend this for people that could smell rust in their water

It’s better than the regular bag of Motrin salt. It last a bit longer and it’s not as creamy as the others. You know that creamy feeling in the shower.

Was great to get this shipped to the house. I like the salt with rust inhibitor in it and switched to that a while back. A bit more expensive but I think worth it in the long run.
