I purchased these tires for my Tahoe in 2016 because they came highly recommended. I've really liked their performance over these years with the gentle driving I do, mostly city -short distance to work, errands, and one trip to Colorado. However, I've only driven 38,000 miles thus far and am being told I need to replace due to tread wear. I understand the recommended replacement time period, but it seems the tread should have lasted longer than this. Am I missing something?

I bought a certified preowned Highlander and it came with new tires from another company. After a 6 months or so of not doing a good job of keeping the tires properly inflated it developed edges on the blocks of the tread that made the most annoying sounds while driving. I put the Michellins on and it reduced the noise level dramatically. I was very satisfied and they lasted a long time too.

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. This is my second purchase of these tires , the quality has changes or these are defective. The whole car rides like its quivering and is bumpy. I have a phone attached to dash and if I try to do a video driving its a jiggly mess, wasn't with the last tires.Something is seriously wrong , got the tires re- balanced, still a issue. I would like these replaced by the company.

Bought a set of these tires in October 2016. I now have over 5000 miles on these tires and I can not say enough good things about them. These tires give a great sense of stability on wet or dry roads. The tires are very quiet on all of the road surfaces that I have encountered here in Texas. These tires were a great buy for my Jeep Grand Cherokee!

I've been a michelin buyer for over 40 years and these are by far the best tires I've ever had. They came new on my 2008 Honda Ridgeline and they now have 79,125 miles on them and I just ordered a replacement set and I hope to get the same mileage out of the next ones. Great job Michelin

First accumulating snow in Michigan 2013. From the trip in, to the trip home with new tires; these new LTX m/s made a world of a difference. The sure grip was very noticeable. No where near the slip and slide at stopping or acceleration. Good choice of tires on my Explorer.

This is my second set of Defender LTX M/S Tires. Stayed with this Michelin brand because of their reliability in all kinds of weather and the durability I have experienced during my (2) cross country trips. Reliability and durability equal safety which is important when it comes to my family.

I now have over 75,000 miles on this set, I rotate them every 5000 miles. I feel they will go 100,000. You pay more up front but these tires will give you your investment back. My wifes Tahoe also now has Michelins & it rides like a dream. I am on my third set. OK I' m sold !! RA

After 15 years of "Michelin only", thinking I should be more frugal, I ran through two sets of a competitor's brand, never coming close to Michelin's performance or longevity! Before leaving for our summer vacation '10, I put a full set on our all-wheel drive SUV, and the difference was AMAZING ... driving was a pleasure, like a million little fingers were gripping the road as we drove cross-country through Virginia's scenic highways ... the ride was far more comforatble, and fuel economy actually increased! My earlier Michelin sets had always had good tread up to the milage forecast ... not so with "brands X" ... I'm so glad to be back in safe hands ... clearly, my Michelin tires are still the best investment I can make for my family's transportation.
