I first encountered the KO fitted new to a 1989 Nissan Safari 4x4 fresh off the boat as a used Japanese import in 1999. 290,000 km later I am on my 3rd set of KOs. Also I am running them on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have never been stuck in mud or snow and have only ever had one puncture. The wear is amazing, 80 to 100,000 km from new down to 3mm tread depth. I find them a quiet running tyre but they do get a bit noisy when the tread wears down below 5-6mm. In short, I love 'em! I can't justify using Mud Terrains because I seldom require anything that aggressive. I'm just a bit annoyed that I can't get a set of KOs in 225-60R18 for my wife's 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Operating conditions: Safari: 265-75R16 on 8" rims. (Australian Spec)* Jeep: 255-70R16 on standard rims (Standard Spec) * Note: Australian spec actually specifies 265-70 section. I purchased my first set 11/21 and got about 35k miles out of them, which is about average for me. I've tried Michelin LTX M/S and they I slid around in the rain, but got about 42k miles out of them. I've tried GY, Yokohama and Bridgestone as well and the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2 worked all around the best but they stopped making that design and went to the Revo 3 and not as good. But I know I'll never get the 55k miles out of the BFG as they state on the limited treadwear warranty but they stick to the ground even when driving. The handling is great and they wear evenly. The sidewalls are more stout which is good for the off-roading and rubbing against curbs. I have not seen any of the sidewall cracking that others have complained of and I know what they are talking about after being in the Tire Business for the last 40 years. I've seen more that most have imagined. I just purchased my 2nd set last week. I drive a 2005 Chevy Silverado 4 WD and have 449k miles on it, so I'll keep buying the these BFG's till someone can convince me to change.

I bought a new 4x4 truck in 2012. It had 20 inch rims on it and I thought at the time the tires were not 4x4 tires (Pirrelli Scorpions ATR) well they were good on the street but after hunting the other day, not even getting off county roads, I had two flats. That was it. Searched the internet for tires but found only passenger grade tires for my rims. I go to my tire dealer and he says BF Goodrich has one, I'm thinking regular T/A, He says no KO2. LT 275 55 R20. Bought them fast and could tell the difference right away. they stuck to the road better in curves (didn't feel like oversteer). Have driven through some mucky mud and didn't even need the 4 wheel drive. Great tire so far, will have to see in time the wear.

I had to replace my Conti "all terrain" tires I had b4 the 30k warranty (couldn't afford these BFG at the time I got the others). So far love these tires quite on the road holds traction on loose gravel and clear mud relatively easily. I will be getting another set when the time comes to replace.

Currently have 28000 kilometers on my raptor and these tires were the original Baja champion ko2s that came with the truck and they're currently sitting at 20% tread life, mostly even wear. How is this possible? They're rated for 50k miles, this is just over a quarter!

I have been driving on AT/TAs for many years, so when the new KO2 came out I jumped at them, figuring they had to be an improvement. They are wonderful in snow! I drive skiing three or four days a week, and they handled the deepest snow with ease. They also corner very nicely, and are relatively quiet. However, they shimmy at highway speeds, and my dealer simply cannot get them balanced. I've had them in three times, and each time the wobble changes slightly, but never goes away. I'm afraid I will have to either go back to the good old KOs, or look for a new tire, before my teeth rattle out!

I mainly use this tire for city and highway driving and occasional offroading as it is my daily driver. I love the look of the tire and how quiet it is on the road. Offroad use is great i love the extra protection of the sidewalls and meaty traction. My only complaint is that when driving on highway between 50 and 70 mph my truck shakes and has bad vibrations that goes throughout the truck. I had a shop look over everything suspension wise and said it was all good. Many other people i talk to say they have the same balancing issue with the bfg k02. Overall i am dissatisfied with these tires and will be buying something else in the future. Great tire for offroad but not a daily driver for any street use.

I have owned three previous versions of this tire on my Superduty and liked, but this set has a very soft rubber. I can easily bend the tread blocks with my fingers. I have worn 2/32 in 2400 miles. When I make a quick lane change the soft compound will rebound the truck the other direction when the lateral load is taken off. I will not want to tow a trailer with these tires until they wear down more, which should be in short order. I have not used them off road yet, but i bet they are very good off road. These should not be advertised as All-Terrain as the road is not a good use for these, and for the majority of people that is the main use. .

I have had three sets of these tires. I love them. I have had them on a 89 Jimmy, 05 Silverado, and 02 Land Cruiser. I drive them hard and have never had issues. If I get a nail I plug it and keep driving. Every vehicle I put them on I sell before I need new tires. I rode them very hard in Africa and had zero issues.

I have had three sets of the old BFG AT KO. On and 94 Jeep, 02 Tahoe and 01 F150. They were all great tires with good traction in Montana's seasons. My 01 F150 does a lot of time hunting in the mountains, crossing creeks and plenty of snow and gravel. I've had two flats in 15 years running AT KO tires and they came on my 01 with over 50K on that set. When in came time to put new tires on my (wifes) 2011 F150, I chose the K02 to replace the factory tires. My wife loves the compliments on the aggressive look. The new KO2s are better than the old ones in almost every way and I immediately replaced the tired and worn KOs on my 01 with the KO2. I have been equally impressed. Great traction, quiet, better ride quality. My only complaint is that they are rock throwers where I don't recall the old ones throwing rocks. Not a big deal. I also can't comment on the tread life as they are fairly new. On my 11 F150 the gas mileage did decrease some over the factory tires. But the factory tires were garbage and I pull a 28' Travel Trailer with this pickup and I am willing to give up a couple mpgs for the benefits of the KO2.
