This is by far the best Cabernet you can buy in a box. And, I like buying it from Sam's because they sell enough of it that their inventory is always fresh. If you buy it from the grocery or a liquor store they often have been sitting on the shelf for a while. If you enjoy a daily glass without having to pop the cork on a bottle, this is the way to go.

Black Box Cabernet is what I reach for every time I know I will not be able to finish a bottle of wine. It's smooth, black cherry taste is delicious and with an unbelievable five dollar price. You truly can't beat it. It stacks up with my good bottles of wine!

Bought it for the convenience factor and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product.

I did not expect to like this wine. I have never found a box wine that I like. I was at a friend's house and this is what they served and I really enjoyed it. Not only that, it's a great value.

Did a really nice job of getting me drunk without having to resort to Franzia. It’s table wine. Nothing to fuss over. Pour it into any available beverage holder and drink up, buttercup. Cut it with water if you don’t like the taste. You know you’ll finish the box regardless.

Surprised at the quality of this cab

I love boxed wines for serving at get togethers etc. These are at times cheaper than in grocery stores. However, I've noticed that taste is not consistent. At times this doesn't taste like the very cheap cabsav. Rarely buy these at Sam's anymore.

Had been buying this product for some time with no complaints, However this time I ordered two boxes and one was spoiled. Wine was brown and thick and bag had dark brown and black residue' I have kept the box but cannot bring it into the desk as I am 90 years old and have leukemia so am shut down due to covid 19. I called the desk three times and each time it rang for 3 Min and then cut off. I purchase all my supplies by pick up. I called the national desk and reported this and two bags of Members Mark dry dog food which had been recalled. They said they would issue me a gift card for the amount but only got one for about the price of one bag of Dog Food. Not a very happy shopper now.

I opened the box the same day I bought it. I buy about 100 Boxes of this per year and it usually is good, but for the second time in the past year it was bad, very heavy and undrinkable, leaving a sediment in the glass. This was a 2021 vintage and was boxed in early 2023. I did not return it since I usually only go to Sams Club once per month.

I have bought this wine from Sam’s twice now within 4 months of each other and both times the wine tasted old and just bad. It was very acidic and just tasted bad… and I get this wine often from the Spec’s near my house and it’s definitely not the brand of wine.
