Now this is the closest thing to Real Cowboy/country style beef jerky I have found. Simple 2 ingredients, that others can't claim with no preservatives. This reminds me of the old fashioned country general store beef jerky that we used to get right out of the big glass barrel. The kind that took you all day to eat, and huge sheets of it. It's not your typical BJ, and really shouldn't be compared to it, yes its real dried beef, and each piece/sheet is unique to it's own with variation. So you will get salty, fatty, and delicious differences from each piece. However if your tired of all the ingredients from others in their BJ you can't even pronounce, let alone want to put in your body, then give this a try. I just wish I could get this stuff in bulk. Very tough . I had to throw it away.

We are new to this kind of jerky, something we just found when moving to the southwest. We plan to add some tajin of extra salt and devour this bag! So tasty.

Just basic jerky thin cut meat and salt and just delicious

Tastes terrible, think of tissue paper covered in grease with a hint of fish food, we returned it.
