Bought as a gift for my sister, she has a friend that has one from many years ago. My sister was in 🧡 with is so I searched and all i had t go on was stainless steel ad Made in Brazil, took a chance to order and thought will just return if not THE pan. The specifications do not state Made in Brazil. But they have updated the style and is even better than the original one I was looking for. Do not hesitate to purchase. This pan is worth every penny

The best of the Stainless Stock Pots. What a great price and quick delivery on this gem. After purchasing the bigger 24Qt, I bought this thru Sam's Club for smaller uses. The bottom is the key to how quickly it heats up and how well it holds the heat. Sturdy design and solid construction are the hallmarks that make Tramontina the best for the money. Waiting for the 16qt to be in stock (lol).

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I ordered this stockpot because it was compatible with an induction cooktop. I started making homemade dog food & needed something to make 5 pounds of brown rice in. After the rice was cooked, I had enough room left in the pan to add some other ingredients. The handles were wide enough that my husband easily lifted the pan. The base is very thick & conducts heat quickly. It sped my cook time up significantly.

We needed to cook 32 ounces of green beans and I didn't want to cook in several pots, so I purchased this stock pot. It was great. Also, my mother and I cook pies to give as gifts for Christmas; this pot will great for cooking the sweet potatoes. Maybe we won't have to stay in the kitchen as long.

I have used a pot like this for years for canning and with my new induction stovetop, I needed new pots and pans and decided to get a second giant canning/soup pot. I am SO glad I did. I have yet to burn anything to the bottom of this pot (or the other like it from tramontina also) and I am a busy homeschooling momma of four so that is saying a lot. If you love soup making, have a big family like we do, or love to can, this is a great buy!

Huge pot, and able to fit lots of meat w/ soup in there. I made chile oil and it held 4 gallons of oil easily.

I used this for the first time to cook lasagna noodles and had hot water in it for a few hours holding at a sub-boiling temperature... what I noticed was that RUST formed up by the lid lip inside the pot which was extremely difficult to clean. I don't know if this is expected due to the nature of the use or whether I have something wrong with the pot, but it's a bit unnerving. Otherwise, the design, size, weight, and lid all look to be high quality. It's just strange that rust developed so quickly on something touted as stainless steel, and no, I had not salted the water, either.

It's nice and heavy and still does what I need but I have many nice stainless steel pots and they still look brand new after YEARS of use... This one I cooked a large pot of chili in it once I got it and it's all stained up! I scrubbed and scrubbed! Used bar keepers friend and another stainless steel cleaner and it won't come off! It makes me wonder the true quality of this pot.
