I do cloth diapers most of the time except when our water runs low or we're going on a trip, which we did this last weekend. I went to purchase a box of disposable diapers for this trip and normally I buy the store brand when I buy disposables because they happen to be the least expensive. LUVS happened to be onsale for a larger box than I would normally get so I went ahead and bought them. Where we were going, diapers are insanely expensive so we bring our own on this trip everytime we make it. The first day and a half of our trip was horrid because 9 out of the first 10 diapers I used from this box had leaked. I threw my hands up after this and started going diaper free trying to catch eliminations in the potty at they happened and used a towel inside a LUVS diaper at night until we got home a couple days later. I have my reciept, upc, and diaper all packaged up and ready to send back for my money back on this box. I will never buy them or recommend them to anyone. This is not the first I've heard about them leaking, so I knew I was taking a chance, but I was trying to save a couple bucks.

i have used nothing but luvs diapers since my son was born feb of 2010, i recently purshased a box of the new design diapers that are supposed to improved. i have had more leaks and "blowouts" with these new diapers than i ever had before.. i have had to wake my son in the middle of the night just to change his diaper, in order to prevent his crib being soaking wet in urine by morning.. the gel absorbancy that is in these new diapers has leaked out of the daiper on to my son and crib and for the fact of it all over myself. cuaseing inconvienent bath times for my son and my self... i have used luvs for 10 months now and today i am switchin brands!!!!!!

Has not anyone noticed the change? They are no longer super absorbent and there is less in the package. One hundred instead of One hundred and eight. you get less and you pay more. Bring back the old super absorbent luvs, please! They are my grandchildren.

I started our first son in Luvs and LOVED them. Never leaked, and always held what he could put out. But since he has moved up to a size 4, the diapers have done nothing but leak. We thought it was a size thing, and that is when we moved him to a size 4 from a size 3, but they still soak right through. Sadly, we are having to switch to another diaper after testing out several others and giving Luvs a last try. I do know that up until now, the diapers were amazing, the price was great and we loved them, but now we are having to move onto another brand.

I have a 27month old little girl named savannah and ever since she first came home ive always bought luvs diapers for her but my only problem is for at night i have to buy her huggies night time diapers because luvs doesnt make any...the reason is because at night she wets right through a luvs diaper. someone told me to stop giving her a cup at night but that not it because she goes to bed at 8pm and her last cup is around 7-730ish....the huggies night time diapers dont even feel wet on the outside in the morning but they are deff wet(and heavy). i wish that luvs would come out with a night time diaper so that i didnt have to buy huggies being they are more expensive and being a single mother i try to save every penny i can and luv fits into my budget. i wont buy "store" brands because they are cheap and half of them make kids break out but luvs is a great diaper during the day i never have a problem with them they are a very light great fitting diaper for my 2 year old its just the night time i have the problem. if luvs would come out with something for the night time i would only buy luvs. hope that maybe someone will read this and soon enough i will find a product out to replace buying huggies night time diapers!....otherwise luvs has great diapers and i wish i didnt have to buy others ever again!!!

I use these during the day because I like her to be changed often, so because these are a good price, I don't feel pressured to keep the diaper on for hours, which could lead to rashes. I use Pampers swaddlers at night though for obvious reasons. In my experience, I would not suggest using Luvs until your baby starts solid foods, because they will pee a little less and their poop will start to be a little more solid. When I used them when she was still on breast milk exclusively they didnt hold up well because everything was so watery, so higher chance of leaking. Also, sizing is a little smaller. For instance, she wears size 5 in swaddlers but size 6 in these. But Pampers baby dry are also cut smaller in my experience. But definitely save yourself a couple coins and use these during the day and the higher priced ones at night. P.S. pampers and Luvs are made by the same company so might as well save the coins

I have tried many of the name brand HIGH PRICED diapers.... and personally i prefer Luvs because not only are they cheaper but to me they have better leak protection and they move with my daughter! they absorb more and would recommend luvs to everyone. Definatly more for your buck$$$ and these days, that is what we want right?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These diapers have a good hold, I only saw leakage about 4-5 times while using this packet, which is not bad. There is a lot of different factor that play a role. The material of the diaper is good, it is not rough or too soft. Also, they are a great price.

I have been a fan of Luvs since before Ben was born, however, I just recently went on a diaper trial and bought different types of diapers to try them out. Well, after trying out many other name brand and store brand diapers, I have concluded that I love luvs the best! They are the best on leakage and the fact that they are the cheapest brand out there helps a lot too! I noticed that with many of the other diapers, the band where you velcro the diaper shut tends to get very "thick" when there is too much urine in that area, like when it's left on overnight. But luvs does not get that thick in that area and therefore, they don't leak and are easier to take the velcro off when it's changing time. Anyway, that's my two cents worth!
