Hello, and thank you for your contact. We are sorry to hear of this experience. When first using the Balloon Time helium tank, the first step is to open the green valve by turning four full turns, counterclockwise, to release the helium seal. Once your green valve is open, slip your balloons over the black fill nozzle and press down on the nozzle. You will hear a hissing sound and see your balloons begin to inflate. Please make sure to reference your instructions located on the tank as well.
