However, many latex balloons sold today are 11” or 12&#34; in size, and larger balloons require more helium to fill. We know the fun shouldn’t start with a struggle!<br /><br />Because our tanks are sealed tightly to ensure no helium escapes, the valve can sometimes be extra snug the first time you open it.<br /><br />Here are a few tips to get things flowing more easily:<br /><br />· Use a dish towel or washcloth for extra grip when turning the green valve counterclockwise.<br /><br />· A small wrench can help if it&#39;s really tight—just turn gently and avoid over-torquing.<br /><br />· Be sure to turn the valve 3–4 full rotations before inflating.<br /><br />Once loosened, it should open more easily for future use!<br /><br />Still stuck or have questions?
