Michelin AT were on my 2015 Chevy 2500 Silverado brand new 1 year ago, I have 30,000 miles and the tires have about an 1/8 or less tread left on them. I drive alot of miles (about 50% highway) and I do not drive aggressively, hard to do in a stock duramax diesel. I had Michelin LTX on other vehicles and they lasted about 50k miles. Thats 40% more mileage.

Over 20 years of Michelin tires, the AT-2 is the first I've been disappointed with. 60,000 mile warranty, but I've had to replace 2 AT-2s with less than 40,000 miles on them and I have 2 more that are currently in need of replacement with 36 - 38 thousand miles on them. The cuts and sipes on the inside and outside 2 inches of the tire, which provide traction in wet or slick driving conditions, completely wear away after about 33 thousand miles. Tire shop states mileage warranty not available until wear is down to 4/32, but tires are slick @ 7/32. Not happy!

I bought these tires a few years ago and they wore like iron. Really good in the snow at first, but after about 50000 miles they weren't as good as when new. Not much road noise but they had even wear. The only thing that I wished that these tires had was more deep siping for winter time driving. I replaced them with another brand after 60000 and could have gone another 10000 easy. But with winter coming on (and it was a doozy!) I decided to try another brand.

The first set of these tires on my Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab lasted 96,689 mostly highway miles. I replaced those with the same tires and I'm at 88,000 miles with a decent amount of tread left. Great performance with only one flat tire due to a screw. Low noise and they handle well in rain. I have about 750 pounds of equipment in the bed at all times and only tow 3-5k pounds 80 miles 2-3 times a month. Absolutely the best tire for my situation.

This is my second set of 285 75r16 E AT/2 tires on my 05 Duramax. I neither use the truck to tow or haul. Michelin "pro-rated" the first set that were worn out at 8k, now the second set same exact thing, premature wear. At 9k miles the second set is now at 16/32 which is 50% WORN OUT. The truck is perfectly maintained and aligned front to back, yet the truck eats these tires. The OEM tires lasted 51k. Wear pattern is even, these Michelin's do not last. Let me repeat that 1/2 the tread is gone in under 10,000 miles on these tires in light-duty application, can't imagine if I used the truck to tow or haul...

I put a set of the AT2 on my GMC Yukon XL Denali back in June of 2008 at 62,000 miles. I now have 168,000 miles on my vehicle and there is still significant tread left! I had a set of the MS as well on my last vehicle, with was a Tahoe, and had over a 100,000 on them and they still had significant tread left on them. I've had horrible experiences with other brands (short life span and were absolutely noisy) and have to say that I'll probably always put Michelins on my vehicles. Class act company and a superior product.

I have been running the LTX A/T2 for about the past 16 years, these tire give the best overall service, long life, best milage, and excellent life pulling heavy loads, With the latest power from the Ford 6.7L in the F-350, and pulling loads in the range of 16,000 kg gvw, I average about 80,000 km out of a set of 4 with proper rotate at service intervals,, I highly recommend this tire for most commercial applications.

I think these are very well worth the money. I live in a small rural county with few paved roads and lots of snow. I have yet to get into deep snow but have been in lots of mud and these tires have done very well. I do a five hour drive to Denver often and these tire do very well on the highway.

One of the reasons I purchased the vehicle I now have is it was equipped from the factory with Michelin tires. After over a million miles of driving I can say I know a little about quality tires because I have been a "michelin man" for over 40 years, since the first radials were introduced. I can also attest to the durability as well, as I have achieved over 60,000 miles with LTX/AT tires and know first hand that over time Michelin tire quality actually saves money in the long run. I had these tires on my 02 tundra (2wheel drive) for 40,000 miles. my buddies farm was no match for these tires... I tried to get stuck but they would go through anything and everything. I live in Cleveland and get a lot of snow. uphill driveways every morning and even when we got a foot of snow in a matter of an hr, I never had to break traction to make it out every morning. I felt like I had chains on my tires all winter long. Oh by the way when I sold my truck I switched my tires with my dad since they were still brand new looking. now on his sequoia still and with another 10,000 miles driven on them. around 50,000 miles total and they can't be any less than 60% tread
