70,000mi and Still Going!

I bought my first set of Michelin tires in 2002 and have bought nothing else since. I bought these LTX AT2 for our 2008 Kia Sorento EX 4X4, and 70,000 miles later, they are still going strong. In fact, I have just ended a 4,000 mile book tour across the United Stated towing a 24' travel trailer. It appears I have 3,000 to 5,000 miles left before it will be time to replace them. As with all the Michelin tires I have bought in the past, these have exceded my expectations! I have used these in snow, mud, gravel, and cross country RV trips all with success!

Best Tire For The Worst Weather

I had these tires on my 02 tundra (2wheel drive) for 40,000 miles. my buddies farm was no match for these tires... I tried to get stuck but they would go through anything and everything. I live in Cleveland and get a lot of snow. uphill driveways every morning and even when we got a foot of snow in a matter of an hr, I never had to break traction to make it out every morning. I felt like I had chains on my tires all winter long. Oh by the way when I sold my truck I switched my tires with my dad since they were still brand new looking. now on his sequoia still and with another 10,000 miles driven on them. around 50,000 miles total and they can't be any less than 60% tread

Not So good in mud!

These tires came on my 2015 Chevy 3500HD. First time in the mud on a slight incline my truck would not move. Tread will not clean out. Will definitely go with the M/S when these are worn or maybe sooner! I don't know where these other reviews are driving, but it's definitely not in NC mountain mud! Have always been happy with Michelin, but these are a big disappointment!

Great tire, will buy more

I have a set of these on a 2002 2500HD Chevrolet and drive VERY agressively. I also rotate the tires every 5K when I change the oil and so far, I have put about 30K on the tires. Right now, I am at 9/32 tread life left and even with agressive driving, will probably get another 20K out of the tires!!! That may not sound great, but I recover friends who venture too far offroad, corner like its a porshe and burnout like its a top fuel dragster and I make good use of my 500hp 6.0 4x4. This is a great ON road tire and suprisingly, didn't leave me stuck in real bad mud but I wouldn't buy these for going off-road. Driving through a pasture while towing- fine. Beyond that, VERY quiet tire. Ride is a little stiff, but thats it!

Great tire makes you want to keep drivin

I am a volunteer Firefighter and get called out in all weather conditions,it's great to know that I can trust that I can get to the station to help others in need. Not only are they a great tire in snow and wet pavement but I can be confident off the road and down some rough lanes. These Michelin tires are also much more quiet than my previous tires and hold the road better. My wife and I were considering selling the vehicle before we changed to Michelin tires because of the ride, but when we put on the Michelin tires it made a world of difference.

THE BEST...for diesel, 4x4, DRW!

These tires came as original equipment on my new 2014 Chevy LTZ, Duramax, 4WD, crew cab, DRW. FINALLY...at 90,652 miles, I need new tires. I probably should have bought new tires 5k miles ago but still at that, 85-90k safe miles pulling heavy loads all over the US? If you can find a better LT tire, I’m all ears! I’d of been content if these tires simply lasted their 60k mile warranty (based on my driving) but, to get an additional 30k miles, FUGGEDBOUTIT! These tires spent roughly 50% of their life, pulling a 43’ 16.5k lbs. 5th wheel around the country for work; the other time, tires pulled a 27’ enclosed car hauler. Yes, they are certainly pricey, as I’m looking to replace them now but, you get what you pay for. If safety, quality and performance are a priority and $$$ isn’t an issue, these tires are the ‘Golden Ticket!’

SANDY STRONG

I have been reviewing tires on line and came across the new MICHELIN LTX A/T2. I own a Dakota 2008 SXT original tires, which from day one handle poorly in rain and snow. If it was light rain and I'm at a light and started to go the tires in back fish tail. All the comments on the MICHELIN was about price. Now here is the kicker, Hurricane Sandy 10-29-2012 I was @ the Ford Dealer in Hamilton NJ having them installed. It was raining when I left and windy and not @ 1 time did I fish tail or lose control. The tires did exactly what the tires was made for. I work for the USPS in Hamilton NJ as a Tractor Trailer Operator and that whole weekend I had to be in. I drove my truck to work during the day and going home during the night when Hurricane Sandy was @ full force. I went through floods and the wind pushing up on me, and when I had to break the tires handle the roads. When all and done the storm passed, as I look back, I paid good money for the tires but it was well WORTH it. As long as I own any vehicle I will buy 1 Tire Brand Only. Thank you MICHELIN, you and me 4 LIFE. David C Bordentown NJ

Will buy again

I love my A/T2 tires from Michelin. I currently have 43,000 miles on them and will go another 20,000 miles easily. I've never had any problems with them what so ever and the ride great & quiet. Plus, I've never gotten stuck in the snow, mud or beach!!!

Great Tire, best tire I have ever had.

On my 2010 F150 I replaced the stock P rated tires with a set of these 275/70R18 at 45,000 miles I know have 156,000 miles on the truck and I am just replacing them now. They still have tread on them but with the winters in New England i decided to replace with another set. Great traction in all types of weather and hauling a trailer. Tire does not make much noise on the road but if your not used to driving a Truck that feels like a Truck the ride is a little hard for regular people. I like my truck to feel like a truck. Great tire I recommend these tires to everyone.

Best Truck Tires I have ever had

I have just purchased these to replace the original set that came new with my 2013 GMC Sierra 2500HD. The reason for purchasing them again is simple - they were fantastic tires. I got 51,500 miles from the original set, and of that 36,000 were towing miles. That's some pretty impressive wear in my view. Had we not towed so much we would have easily gotten 60,000 miles out of them. I kept the pressure up (they required very little additional air over their life) and rotated them every 7k miles, but that's about it. I will try to rotate this new set every 5k in hopes of getting even more life out of them. One interesting thing - although we really didn't notice it as it was probably a gradual thing, the tires must have been louder at the end of their life than they were before, because when we got the new set on we immediately noticed how quiet they were.
