It is not bitter especially if I use filtered or bottled water. I can drink it black without cream and sugar which saves me a lot of calories and helps my prediabetes and high cholesterol.

I love strong coffee and espresso. This is finely ground to make espresso or Turkish coffee, but I use it in my regular coffee maker. It has a robust, delicious flavor and the price is considerably less than other brands. I highly recommend it.

Makes great smooth but strong dark expresso for caps and lattes. I use a Bialatti stovetop expresso maker. Not bitter at all !!!--chocolately good, almost like drinking hot chocolate.

Found this brand several years ago vacationing in Florida (at WalMart Neighborhood Market). Makes the perfect espresso/latte. Very robust dark roast without that ‘burnt’ French roast taste. Glad it’s now available at WalMart.com.
