Everyone in the group thoroughly liked this refreshing lager and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves lagers. This is now my go to for me personally. Everyone was so happy with the FIFA theme and the Modelo Promos freebies. They all asked me when I would be throwing the next party. I'm definitely making this my go to along with my top 5 . I love the light refreshing taste with very minimal bite to it. The Original Modelo Lager is my favorite still.

Modelo Especial is my go to drink. I like the taste and it is not to bitter or any after taste like other beers. This is my fave of the Modelo drinks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the chelada flavors, the Mango & Chile was the crowd favorite. Limon y Sal was the second favorite. We tried the Modelo Chelada Especial pack and the traditional Modelo Especials. The Modelo Especial was refreshing and crisp as always! The chelada style was unique and great if you’re looking for some familiar Modelo with the flavor of a michelada. The Mango & Chile Modelo Chelada stood out the most due to the refreshing mango flavor with some spice of the chile. The Modelo Especial is the the original refreshing beer I’d drink when watching soccer which is what I would recommend to my friends and of course buy again!

The taste stays true to form either way, a crisp, golden lager with a light malty flavor and a clean, smooth finish. The bottles hold their freshness a bit longer, great for BBQs at home. The cans are lighter and stay cold longer, ideal for lake trips and tailgating.
