Convenient yet mediocre quality

This is the second time in the last 2 months to buy these sandwiches. I like the convenience however, I frequently find bone chips in the sausage. I will not buy any more of these.

A tasty, convenient breakfast sandwich with a buttery croissant, savory sausage, and satisfying flavor-just be careful not to overheat it.

I recently tried the Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and it's a great choice for a quick breakfast. The croissant is soft, buttery, and slightly flaky, which makes it a bit more satisfying, than a regular sandwich bun. The sausage has a rich, savory flavor, without being overly greasy and it pairs well with the fluffy egg and melted cheese. It's super convenient and heat up quickly, which is perfect for busy mornings when you don't have the time to cook. The portion size is just right-filling, but not too heavy. Definitely won't be buying again.

Tasty

I have been eating Jimmy Dean's sausage breakfast sandwiches for years and the taste has changed. I like to buy them for when I do want to cook breakfast. I fry the sausage separately and then pop the sandwich into the microwave for about three minutes and it comes out crispy and not dry. The egg does taste a tad bit rubbery but everything together is fine.

Great for on the go breakfast

Great breakfast sandwiches that are better than stopping in the morning and paying much more. They taste the same if not better. I think it's a great taste and good easy breakfast in the go. I keep trying to get my husband to take them. Good brand too

Convenient

These sandwiches are great when you’re on the run and work well when staying in a hotel. I find them useful when I’m on the road traveling and waking up early and I know there is nothing else open to help me with my day.

Sausage Egg and Cheese Croissant quality and flavo

Was disappointed in the Sausage Egg and Cheese Croissant. Wasn't much flavor. The egg had no salt, was flat. The sausage had no flavor, didn't even taste like sausage. It tasted like it had not of the sausage spices in it. It was just a piece of cooked pork, no flavor at all.The cheese started burning on the edges but still was not completely melted. Seemed like fake cheese. The croissant itself was heavy. It wasn't light and flaky like a croissant should be. Normally when I heat a croissant in the air-fryer or oven, its kinda flaky and light. This was like a piece of thicker bread. Yeah, disappointed spending the extra to get the name brand. The store brand was actually better.

SE & Chz Croissant Ain't What it Used to Be!

The Sausage Egg & Cheese Croissant has been a favorite of mine and my Mom's for years. When it used to be good. But the last 2 boxes I bought were noticeably different. The sausage and egg are so thin. The cheese I had to look for! What happened? So I sorted these reviews to see the recent ones and they ALL say the same thing as mine. You had a good thing and you had to ruin it by changing it to save yourselves some money. You've lost customers in the process. Last box I'll buy too. Penny wise, dollar stupid.

these are not like the old ones

I’m disappointed that Sam’s switched to the new style of this breakfast sandwich. Before they came in a heat pouch that just took 90 secs to cook; now you have to defrost at 50% for 90 secs and then cook at full power for 50 more secs. You shouldn’t have to do all that just to heat up a breakfast sandwich. And shame on jimmy deans for even thinking that it was a good idea to do all of that just to warm up a sandwich!

Love how easy these are to heat on busy mornings

Sam's Club and Jimmy Dean got this product right. Other stores (including a major competitor that shall not be named) sell the same sandwiches, but without the Heat Fresh pouch -- we found the heating directions for those to be more cumbersome and especially difficult for our elementary school kids to follow. Not so for this product. Simply heat for 90 seconds at full power in the microwave! Cooks evenly and thoroughly and they taste great. Also a good protein and carb (fuel) source in the morning to get you going.

Great Sandwich, Made Better by Ignoring Recipe

If you follow the recipe on the box, the cheese will boil away and the egg will be cold. Here's what I do: Take every layer apart. 1: set cheese aside 2: microwave other ingredients for 30 seconds on high (1100 W microwave) 3: remove the bread, microwave egg and sausage for 30 sec on high 4: remove the sausage, microwave egg for 30 seconds on high 5: rebuild the sandwich, microwave on high for 20-30 seconds. That's it. The egg will not be frozen and the cheese will not have boiled away.
