Sam's Club and Jimmy Dean got this product right. Other stores (including a major competitor that shall not be named) sell the same sandwiches, but without the Heat Fresh pouch -- we found the heating directions for those to be more cumbersome and especially difficult for our elementary school kids to follow. Not so for this product. Simply heat for 90 seconds at full power in the microwave! Cooks evenly and thoroughly and they taste great. Also a good protein and carb (fuel) source in the morning to get you going.

We used to eat these almost every weekday morning for breakfast. Now, they no longer come in the "heat fresh" pouch where you could just place directly in the microwave. Now you have to wrap in a paper towel with an extra defrost cycle. The cheese either doesn't melt or melts and most of it ends up stuck to the paper towel. With this change, the bread doesn't stay soft and the overall experience just isn't what it should be. We've switched to other items for breakfast until Jimmy Dean restores this product to what it was.

Jimmy Dean's Sausage Croissant is the best because it's not one of those tiny breakfast sandwiches that you finish in two tiny bites. Secondly, the sausage takes like sausage! And lastly, the croissant is not one of those smaller and harder muffins that you normally get in a breakfast sandwich. I love it and when I buy a box, they are gone quickly because I eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I have eaten these off and on over the years and have always found them very tasty, sometimes, to the point where I would indulge by eating two in one day. Unfortunately today, I found myself eating a croissant that tasted like a biscuit. It was chewy and gooey. Nothing that resembled a croissant. Further, the size is smaller. Sometimes companies need to learn to leave products alone. The old recipe was perfect!

I don't have a problem with the “new bun” as others are stating. I think it tastes fine. What I do have a problem with is the size. It has really shrunk! One usually fills me up but this one didn't and two would be too much. Please go back to the original size.

The SEC croissants have really gone downhill over the years! We have been buying these for years. Not only have they decreased in size, price has gone up, and they have lost flavor over the years. They are now just BLAH! We're finished purchasing these!

For health plan need to have1egg every morning. All this time (months) thought the contents claim of “eggs” meant at least 1 egg, fact check: it is 1/2 an egg. Anemia unhappy. Luxury (no cooking) plan fizzle. I'd suggest the s gets dropped. Truth to delicious breakfast power.

Congratulations. I hope the increased profits from sacrificing quality are worth it. When they got smaller, I kept buying. When the bottom of the croissant started coming out hard, I kept buying. But, I'm drawing the line at the rotten fish taste. I have enjoyed these for many years, but I won't be buying them again.

This sandwich has been my favorite for years but I haven't had them in years. I finally had some money and bought these to make breakfast easier for myself. The box was completely sealed and it was clearly a manufacturer error but there was no sausage in any of the 4 sandwiches I purchased. One of the packets were open as well. I will not be purchasing again for awhile.

I have been eating five of these a week for the past two years. They were my favorite quick, good, and affordable breakfast. The last box that I purchased had a different croissant. It was more dense and smaller than before. The croissant and the sausage were the bright stars of the sandwhich. After that box was finished I switched brands. Please let me know if you decide to go back to the old croissant and I will return.
