Very tasty breakfast sandwich

These are really good. If you are in a hurry in the morning and dont have time to stop at a fast food place or time to make breakfast...these are easy to heat up and taste really good. I love that they are 13g of protein. I like the croissant better than the biscuits.

Strange

Strange thing....I noticed that the croissant sandwich looked smaller so I went back in my purchase history and checked. The 12 croissant sandwiches in my order June 2023 were the same weight, 54 ounces for 12, as the ones I bought last week, June 2025. Also, they are 50 cents cheaper now. I only gave 4 stars because they are still just okay in flavor and still too small to be a substitute for a breakfast.

Terrible Sausage meat

I have to say this might be the worst sausage egg and cheese croissant I have ever eaten in my life. What’s up with the hard white grissle things in the sausage? Very very poor quality. I just ate my first and last Jimmy Deans sausage sandwich. Whole box went in the garbage. Last time I eat one of those.

Bait and switch

The pictures on the label display what appears to be a nice pork sausage patty. However, Jimmy Dean uses mechanically separated chicken in the patty formulation also. Breakfast sausage should be pork. If it is a chicken patty, identify this on the primary label panel.

Disappointing

I bought these thinking they were going to be how I remembered. I was so wrong. As soon as I opened the package I was shocked. Little baby sized sandwiches. I popped one in following instructions. Which are off by the way. I don’t think I’ve ever had to the then cook my sandwich. That leads to overcooking. The top was a little hard and the egg was still cold. I only gave two stars because the flavor was good. I won’t get them again. I purchase all my sausage and bacon Jimmy Dean.

Cheating

II've been eating this and the other two sausage, egg and cheese for years. When I opened my newest box of these croissants, I did a double-take - What Happened to the Sausage?? How could it even be MADE so thin. I held it up to see if I could see through it. I looked at the box and the sausage in the picture looked like it always looked. Extremely disappointed and totally shocked. And of course the only size carton they had that day was for 10. So now I'm stuck with nine more of these farces! What happened? I know times are tough, but your price went up and your product took a nosedive.

Absolutely horrible- literally inedible.

Ive had the croissant/sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwiches a few years ago & just got them again today (BOGO from Publix). Something must have changed because I had to do it it out- it was absolutely disgusting! I remember when I had them a couple years ago they were just okay, but now.... I can't believe these are sold & people eat them. The flavor is difficult to describe, but I suppose artificial & plastic tasting comes close. Now for the texture.... Dry, slimy, & spongy all at the same time. Every element of the sandwich tastes disgusting in its own way. & I tried the sandwich as a whole & each part separately to see if it was just one part or the sandwich as a whole which I disliked so much. The "croissant" is not flaky or buttery like it should be- its dry & dense. The "sausage" is slimy & greasy. The egg is both slimy & spongy. And as for the cheese- it basically melts into non existence.

Convenient

The Jimmy Dean® Croissant Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich is a convenient and filling breakfast option for busy mornings. The buttery croissant bun is soft and flaky, pairing well with the savory sausage, fluffy egg, and melted cheese. The flavors come together nicely, giving you that classic, hearty breakfast taste in just a few minutes. Each sandwich contains 15g of total sugars, which makes it a bit on the sweeter side compared to a traditional homemade breakfast. While it's not the healthiest option, it does provide a good balance of protein and carbs to keep you full and energized.

They Suck

Jimmy Dean was a great tasting product a few years back! They have made changes to the recipes to most of their breakfast sandwiches. I’m sure it is to appease the idiots that are too stupid to thaw them out before nuking them in the microwave! I can’t even stomach the biscuits and croissants anymore! Jimmy Dean, Please go back to your original recipes!

Sausage, egg, cheese croissants

The SEC croissants have really gone downhill over the years! We have been buying these for years. Not only have they decreased in size, price has gone up, and they have lost flavor over the years. They are now just BLAH! We're finished purchasing these!
