Assumed I was purchasing the newer LE3, but not a problem since I was satisfied with the original LE2's, which gave 52K miles of quiet, even wear. If I hadn't replaced a little early, I probably could have gotten 60K miles. Just double check when purchasing to receive the improved 70K mile LE3.

I have been a fan of the Destination Tire for years now due to its smooth ride, durability, comfort control, and overall safety, recently had this tire put on my daughters car also because it is time tested by me and I know its valuable quality and safety.

These are the best tires I have owned and I could not recommend them any more highly. I have a 2014 Subaru Forester that is about 50/50 city/highway driving. It rarely is on gravel and never off-road and never at the track (or driven like it is at the track.) Nearly all the miles are on dry pavement with occasional rain and very rare snow. All of the previous tires we have had on the Forester were much noisier - including Champion Fuel Fighter and FS All Season. We noticed how much less noise there was on the highway immediately. At 75-80 mph, there used to be so much noise that it wasn't comfortable to carry on a conversation - now it is fine. We have 15,000 miles on this set and it looks like they are going to wear *much* better than the previous tires - we still have over 8/32nds tread (starting at 10/32nds) meaning we are only a quarter of the way to 2/32nds (when they have to be replaced.) When I was shopping, the Destination LE3 kept coming up on the short lists (5-8 brands/offerings - LE3 being the only FS entry in the list) of the best tires for my car. Most of the others were quite a bit more expensive. The LE3s are the most expensive that FS offers for my car, but that is still only 50% more than Firestone's least expensive (and with how well they are wearing, they may actually cost less per mile to own.) I'm very happy and confident with their performance. I have a lifetime alignment at FS and I've felt that FS has been generous with prorating remaining mileage on the old tires when I get a new set. So 5 stars across the board and I could not be happier with these tires.

Used the Destination LE and LE2 on my Dodge Dakota. After 3 sets, I traded for a new Chevy Colorado in 2016. The Goodyear tires, 2 sets, only lasted an average of 33,000 miles. Bought the new Destinations LE3, they were lasting up to 55,000 miles on my Dodge Dakota. A NO BRAINER!!! Joe G

Have had Firestone tires in most of my trucks. Do field service so on the road a lot in the NY NJ area. Roads are hard on everything. These tires run quiet, great traction in all weather, and are just about worn out with 65,000 miles on them. Like them so much, put a set on my wife's Honda CRV. She loves them due to the tires being so quiet and smooth.

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. I have used these tires on all of my vehicles for about 20 years. The set I replaced today was on my pickup truck since 2014, more than 10 years. I've never had a problem other than the occasional nail and Firestone's road hazard warranty has taken care of that.

So for reference I have awd but it snowed 12 inches overnight and many people were having a issues getting moving or turning and others having to abandon the vehicle where it sat in the snow but I had no issues (I did however use caution during stops and didn't have an opportunity to try and see how they handle abs kicking in but I'll update this when I do) also cannot tell if I've driven on ice as it doesn't kick out often so proceed with caution there

These tires are much improved from the Destination LE2. If your a fan of Firestone tires and are looking for a great tire, these are them. Quiet on the highway, great tread for when driving in wet conditions as well as on dry and in those hot summers in Texas.

Certainly not the most expensive tire you could buy. But absolutely the best you can buy for value , longevity, reliability and performance. I have purchased these a total of 5 times for our 2 vehicles over the 9 years. I can't think of single time these tires disappointed me. Great tires all around!
