The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. I replaced Goodyear Wranglers with these to get better traction on wet roads. The wet traction is definitely better. The first thing I noticed is the steering is a little squirrely with these tires. It's like I have to really pay attention to the wheel and constantly correct or else I'm drifting from side to side in the lane. The goodyears did not do this. Could be they have the air psi too high from 40 to 43. I might deflate them to 36 psi and see how that does. Not as smooth as I'd hoped either; or as quite.

So far I have nothing but good things to state about these tires. They are working very well in the city, highway and dirt roads. I will write another review once winter comes to review how they are on wet conditions and snow. They are very quite tires and comfortable.

I just purchased these tires, so I really can't comment on durability. We've bought tires from our local tire shop for years, and the owner recommended them. He said he put them on his mother's car. I bought a set for my daughter, and now for my wife based solely on his recommendation. I normally buy Bridgestone tires.

Excellent tire with gorgeous white lettering. I instantly noticed better traction, ride comfort and noise reduction versus the previous tires. I would recommend this tire to anyone who has a vintage 60's or 70's classic muscle car on a 15-inch wheel who wants classic Firestone white lettering on a modern high performance radial tire.

I find my Jeep handles angerously on highway roads that are grooved, especially in winter. We have plenty in Michigan. The car wanders all over the lanes and really have to have 2 hands on the wheel at all times. Have had car checked at Jeep dealership for bad wheel bearing,tires balanced and rotated, and now they put two new tires on(as a goodwill gesture).. no difference in the drive. Firestone dealership could not test drive due to employee shortage. Unsatifactory response from 1-800 customer care/warrenty.Dangerous would not recommend, and definately will not buy Firestone again.

I've always had good luck with these tires. Had an older version on the Jeep I owned. Was time for a new set of tires on my truck. These are quiet, don't slip or slide in wet conditions and make my truck handle well. They hold up well to my driving style and look good on the truck. I would definitely recommend these tires if you're looking for a great set. They were a little pricey, but well worth the money.

I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE 1.5 YEARS AGO AND THE MASTERCRAFT LSR TIRES ON IT WERE JUST NOT COMFORTABLE TO DRIVE ON. I PAID MORE THAN I FELT WAS APPROPRIATE FOR 4 NEW FIRESTONE DESTINATION LE3 TIRES, BUT THE IMMEDIATE DIFFERENCE IN HOW THE VEHICLE FELT, SOUNDED, AND HANDLED, QUICKLY OFFSET THE FEELING OF THE HIGH COST. I WOULD DEFINITELY DO IT AGAIN. THESE TIRES ARE WELL WORTH IT.

These are the best tires I have owned and I could not recommend them any more highly. I have a 2014 Subaru Forester that is about 50/50 city/highway driving. It rarely is on gravel and never off-road and never at the track (or driven like it is at the track.) Nearly all the miles are on dry pavement with occasional rain and very rare snow. All of the previous tires we have had on the Forester were much noisier - including Champion Fuel Fighter and FS All Season. We noticed how much less noise there was on the highway immediately. At 75-80 mph, there used to be so much noise that it wasn't comfortable to carry on a conversation - now it is fine. We have 15,000 miles on this set and it looks like they are going to wear *much* better than the previous tires - we still have over 8/32nds tread (starting at 10/32nds) meaning we are only a quarter of the way to 2/32nds (when they have to be replaced.) When I was shopping, the Destination LE3 kept coming up on the short lists (5-8 brands/offerings - LE3 being the only FS entry in the list) of the best tires for my car. Most of the others were quite a bit more expensive. The LE3s are the most expensive that FS offers for my car, but that is still only 50% more than Firestone's least expensive (and with how well they are wearing, they may actually cost less per mile to own.) I'm very happy and confident with their performance. I have a lifetime alignment at FS and I've felt that FS has been generous with prorating remaining mileage on the old tires when I get a new set. So 5 stars across the board and I could not be happier with these tires.

Certainly not the most expensive tire you could buy. But absolutely the best you can buy for value , longevity, reliability and performance. I have purchased these a total of 5 times for our 2 vehicles over the 9 years. I can't think of single time these tires disappointed me. Great tires all around!
