Purchased the turkey one week before Thanksgiving. Turkey times listed on package were spot on, but the pop-up Turkey thermometer never popped up, just happened to put digital thermometer in and pull the turkey. Very bland tasting and turkey white meet was dry. Can not recommend, never had a problem with Butterball

Bought this yesterday, 14lbs cooked today - came out great. Like that there are no hormones. Cut 1 stick of butter into long smaller sticks and put under the skin > put in 500F oven and lowered heat to 350F internal temp was 165 after 2.5 hours. Recommend and hope it works out for you.

I know how to cook. Baked this yesterday for an early thanksgiving dinner. How embarrassing. Cooked under 3 hours 11 pounds. I followed directions, buttered it up, olive oil, stock, onion, garlic, it smelled so good. Couldn't even eat it without choking. Left it for the wildlife not sure if they will even touch it. So we had a meatless dinner.

In my twenty years of roasting turkeys, this one was the worst. Turkey was both dry and rubbery at the same time. Couldn't cut it much less eat it.

I've had wild turkeys that weren't has tough as this one. Wow. Will only buy Butterball in the future

Turkey cooked perfectly in an oven bag. However it tasted awful. Tough and gamey tasting. Never again. Butterball next time.
