[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a living room tv with max 50in size (due to built in cabinet). In addition, we wanted a "smart tv" so that we can access various streaming services (Disney+, NetFlix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu) easier as our existing TV only had a few of these services. TV was lightweight; first time turning on and setting up was extremely easy. Connecting to the previously mentioned services was also very simple, particularly for those that had a "smart" connection. Picture quality was amazing compared to our other tv; I kept saying how watching previously viewed movies felt like watching new ones, as the picture image was so crisp and clear.

I didn't know about the magic remote cursor however when I was setting up the TV, I immediately realized what was happening and it was very intuitive and easy to use. Feature rich and everything just works as it should.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our flat screen tv in the master bedroom was a 46", the border top and sides was about one inch wide, the bottom was about 3" so the actual picture was seen within these wide borders. My new LG 55" fills the entire rectangle as the borders are about 1/2". When purchasing the tv, I compared picture quality side by side with other tv's in the store. The LG had the best picture. The Remote Control for this tv is really high tech, you can speak to it for selections, use it with a pointer that appears onscreen to make selections, and also has a wheel control (like a mouse on a computer) for added control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This television appears to be LG‘s best in the 43 inch class, however, a picture is no better than you could get eight years ago. Would not have purchased this television if I knew the quality of the picture was not better than it is. Wish they made an OLED model in this size. Many people have furniture which cannot accommodate a larger TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV for my Mom and she is really enjoying her new TV. She likes the thin edge surrounding the picture. She is able to use her old remote control (linked to her cable box) to operate this TV, which is a plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made this purchase before Christmas and am very happy with it. I don't use all the features because being older ,I'm not tech savey. We have satellite TV and have plagued by the different levels of sound from the different channels. I did not know that the TV had a sound equalizer, so it was very nice surprise. It has a good picture and I am happy with the TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the audio on my previous TV running through my stereo amplifier, the audio took the enjoyment out of watching especially movies. Now with my LG Ultra HD the sound matches the quality of the picture. The UHD picture is as close to a 3D picture without the 3D price. Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I purchased the same manufacturer my Verizon STB connected with no programming needed. I would like to give 5 stars but the online manual and the setup material make the setup of the additional functions confusing. I may have to contact their technical support to complete the setup to remove functions I don't require and customize the ones I need to enjoy viewing. My previous LG 50" LED was very easy to configure but it was not a Smart TV.

It was very easy to setup, and the picture/sound quality is great outside on our porch. The added bonus is about 200 free channels. Awesome TV and reasonable price
