[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture quality is hard to adjust. I have owned this for 3 months and still am tweaking the picture. Especially problematic is the contrast. Rhe contrast was easier to adjust on my old Visio 55". Overall picture quality is better than the Visio, but not by much. The sound quality is equally hard to adjust. I wish i would have kept my Visio or else bought another Visio. The remote is not fully compatible with my Arris cable box form TDS Cable Co. My Visio remote was fully compatible. I wish I would have never bought your TV.

For some reason, while I am exceedingly computer conversant, I am unable to connect to my network via WiFi. Since this TV resides on a different floor from my router, it is the only easy and logical connection, but setup refuses to couple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: built-in apps are convenient (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu), and work very well with a high-speed internet connection. Picture quality is excellent (some adjustments to settings are necessary though). Cons: Settings menus are *very* slow. Like, maybe 5 to 10 seconds response time after selecting an item. Once you are further in, like the screen where you can scroll through brightness, contrast color, etc. it isn't so bad. The most recent firmware update did not noticeably improve this. Fortunately, after getting things set up the way you like, you won't have to go there much. Here are my recommendations for picture settings: Standard picture settings; turn off most automatic adjustments (except for color gamut), and other “extra” processing. These are the important ones, that I sometimes fiddle with, a notch or two either way: Backlight: 44 Contrast: 80 Brightness: 51 Sharpness: 26 Color: 61 Tint: R2 Color Temp: W2

However, we do have 2 issues: #1 we don't like the way the remote works like a mouse pointer, very awkward. #2 If you are not directly in front of the TV the picture loses clarity.

Really love that I can connect to the internet to watch my grandson's basketball games. Hope they are the Discovery Plus all soo, but I have connected thru the internet in the meantime which was very easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the set about three weeks ago rather than considering a repair when HDMI 2 and 3 started blinking on and off on our four year old Visio. The Visio always had difficulty with the Frontier VDR. It usually took three to five try's to turn on the TV. Sound wit no pictures, picture with no sound, nothing at all, etc. ViZIO's response was always “there is nothing wrong with the TV” and refused to send a service rep. Frontier sent reps on three different occasions but couldn't help. We have not had this problem with the LG set. The picture is a bit sharper and the sound is way better. I find Smart TV and the Genius Remote a bit complicated and confusing and prefer the Roku streaming stick controller for streaming.

The remote is the best remote I've ever had for a TV. I love the ability to speak or to point and click. The WebOS is an easy system to use. I am shopping for a 65in for my family room. Went to a store with multiple TVs in different price ranges on display and this model competes with the much more expensive and I'll probably buy it again.

Once you get used to using the WebOS operating system it is very easy to navigate and use streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, etc. I also have an Amazon Firestick attached to it and it works very well.

I stream my TV programs and on some TV that can be a real struggle getting where to need to be, not only initially setting it up but each time to turn it on. But with my LG TV is a breeze. If you like overall excellence in performed and ready to navigate all in one LG is for you. I bought mine for my bedroom where I watch TV because my husband was truly hair with his LG purchase for the living room that he bought 18 months ago. LG is for us!!

My experience for LG is almost same that LG is best among all it's competitors. Recently I purchased another brand (don't want to mention name) TV with three year warranty and within 4 month TV started getting a line in the middle of the picture. Using remote for that brand was again a tedious work as I was very fed up with that toggling between button pressing. Complained to the company and with more than a month follow up, nothing happened. I finally talked to the place where I purchased the TV and with all short of my frustration they agreed to return that. After that without thinking a second, I purchased LG Brand same size TV. I paid a few bugs extra. Now I have previous brand and my favorite LG Brand TV comparisons. Below are my clear observations for LG: Far better picture quality Better sound Mora apps and thousands of free to air channels Magic Remote is something which is very helpful specially if you do lot of search. Nevertheless - peace of mind. So, now I have decided that in future if I have to purchase any TV, my brand will be LG.
