[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really is firm but if you like firm mattresses, give it about a week to break it in. There is simply no comparison. Aches and pains are gone.

This was our 2nd Tempurpedic King in the last 12 years. We bought the firm version for support and we absolutely love it. The salesman Matt at Mattress Firm was first class and the delivery guys were without question the best we have ever had.

We bought two of these beds. My 15 year old loves hers but my husband gets a back ache and says it's too soft. Now we get to go through the steps to return his and go for a firmer mattress. At least we have this option.

This bed is too firm. It feels like concrete. We have had it for 22 days, and still not adjusted to it. We are trying to give it 30 days, but not getting used to it.

This is my 4th Tempur-pedic purchase. I am so happy with this mattress. The ProAdapt has helped my chronic back pain so much. I have had it now for almost a month and would not change a thing.

As expected, it is a very comfortable, high quality mattress. We did have to get a 5 inch base because it was several inches taller than our old Tempur-Pedic mattress which was on a 9 inch base.
