Took the mattress a couple of weeks to transform from a rock to a comfortably firm mattress. Could be too firm for some. We love it!

I love this mattress! Used to wake up every morning with a lower back ache but no more! I don't know how I lived without it!!

This very expensive mattress is labeled soft. It is a firm as the ones labeled firm. I'm truly disappointed in my selection of Tempurpedic brand.
