[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not joking when I say I was debating between getting a new car or a new mattress and I have no regrets in choosing the mattress. I opted for the soft after days and days of debating. I didn't want to spend all this money to start sinking in an ultra soft mattress. However, it's not ultra soft, I actually was nervous it was too stiff at first. It is the perfect amount of sink into it while still being super supportive. I actually could not figure out why I was having such a hard time waking up for work even though I wasn't exhausted and it took me a week to realize it was because I was sleeping SO good, I was just literally not used to getting that good of sleep. For reference I am 5 feet tall and 140 pounds. I feel that information is crucial in reading reviews on a mattress I want. I am very glad I did not get the medium.

Two stars because I've only had it for a week, but so far I'm not impressed. I bought a firm Adapt but I feel like I'm sinking in. I have to constantly move from one side to the other at night because I feel like I'm falling into a hole. When I sit on the side of the mattress to get up to the bathroom at night, I have to switch sides or I'll roll out from the depression I created sitting on the side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got our new TEMPUR-ProAdapt® just as my wife was coming home for the hospital to recover from a broken pelvis. The bed not only provided the perfect slant for comfort, it also has a massage element. Needless to say, this mattress was notches above any in the hospital. If it were possible I would strongly urge hospitals and nursing homes to replace their beds with TEMPUR-ProAdapt®. I am recommending them to all my friends.

We wanted to try tempur-pedic mattresses after my husband slept on one in his sister's house. We did a lot of research ahead of time and visited showrooms with the products. We chose hybrid because it lessens motion transfer. This product was way softer than we anticipated and after just a few weeks neither of us was sleeping well and both of us woke up with hip, back and knee pain. We sent the mattress back.

I challenge anyone that has ever doubted Tempur-Pedic that you bought the wrong level of firmness! This is our second one. The first was over 9 years ago and is still going strong, but we went down to a queen!!! If you haven't tried it, you must!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has taken me a little over a week to adjust but my app tracker is showing an improvement in my REM sleep times. It has helped my back some by adjusting the head a little while I sleep. Great for watching my tv shows in too.

This bed was super firm, and so different than what we were used to in a traditional spring mattress. I went with firm bedside reviews say after a few years they soften a bit. This is like camping in a tent the first couple weeks. I'd say it really took 3-4 weeks to get used to. When you finally do get used to it, the sleep can't be beat. I slept so sound that first good night. I was skeptical and worried until that magical night about a month in. My husband acclimated more quickly around week two or three. I don't feel him get out of bed at 5am anymore! Another magical thing, I don't know how, but his insanely loud snoring is gone, and he rarely snores anymore at all! This bed is worth every penny for that reason alone!!

We both like a firm mattress, and I especially need one because of lower back problems, but this was a new level of firm. Yet sleeping and watching TV on this mattress is as comfortable as I've been on a mattress. It's firm but not hard, if that makes sense.

I was hesitant at first when making such a big and expensive purchase on a mattress, but after talking to several friends who have had Tempur-pedic beds, I was convinced and I do not regret it one bit. The first night sleeping on the mattress, I got a full nights rest (which I had been struggling with previously). I would rate it a 10/10 and highly recommend especially if you have trouble sleeping.

My wife & I finally replaced our old, old sleep number mattress with the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid. The coil-layer sounded like what we were looking to strike a balance between too firm and too soft and it was clearly the right choice. I used to wake up in pain due to misalignment, but not anymore! I could go on but you get the idea: it's worth the investment!
