[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Tempur-pedic customer for a least the last 15 years. I bought this mattress as a replacement for the first Tempur-pedic mattress that I bought. This new one sleeps like a dream just like my first one! I am definitely a Tempur-pedic customer for life!

I owned the original for 15 years and loved it. I searched and tried the entire TP line to get the model that was closest to what I knew and landed on the Pro Adapt. Started with the medium and it became much too soft. Serious back pain in the morning. I then exchanged for a firm, which also just doesn't work for me because it seems to be equal parts squish and firm, which doesn't sync up with my brain. Every night I get into bed and wonder why it isn't more firm, or slightly more soft. It's a curious and uncomfortable mix of both. BE AWARE you can only make a return/exchange once. This second attempt left me with a very expensive bed that I can't return or change - it would be great if they changed this policy ☹️

I don't have anything bad to say about the mattress, just that I don't get the cooling effect of the mattress with a mattress cover over it. I like to have a mattress cover to protect from the dead skin and bacteria that can get in mattresses, but I've noticed that it completely blocks, at least the cover that I got from the store, the cooling effect that the mattress is supposed to give.

Not an easy process to file a mattress claim. You will be denied unless "there are 3/4" (inch) or greater visible indentations". Proper forms and photos were sent. Mattress is 2 years old. It's a lot of trouble to get nothing in return. The standard I paid for is not the standard of service I received . Claim was denied. Make sure you are aware of what you are purchasing and will get for the huge amount of money you will spend for a mattress .

If you had to jump from a burning building onto this mattress you would die... it's hard as a rock, does not contour and hot! The mattress in the store is wildly different than this one. No side sleeper should ever try this. The fact my sales rep recommended it as ok is criminal. I haven't slept in weeks. It's 4am and I just moved to the couch. Don't buy this mattress it is not what is advertised in store!!!

Our previous mattress was a Beauty Rest Black Ice Hybrid model that was comparatively priced (during a sale) and initially felt comfortable enough for us. During the first year I began to experience growing discomfort and at times pain in my hip and leg. Being 60 years old I thought it was my arthritis and began to look at ways to "live" with this mattress. I purchased mattress toppers and found one that worked well (My Pillow) but began to notice a slight sag in the sides of the mattress. I began a warranty claim and received 100% credit for my 4 year old mattress. I did my research (again) and came back to what should have been my first choice all along the Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. From the first night my wife and I fell asleep quickly and soundly enjoying a deep restful sleep. While I cannot make medical claims about the benefits from this mattress I can state that my hip and leg pains have been greatly reduce. Overall we are enjoying the best nights sleep that we have had in a while, it is worth the premium price for the quality and I don't think I can put a value on the sleep quality.

I have had the new mattress, pillows and sheets now for about 30 days. So far I like it a lot, almost love but too soon to give it that. Humans spend a lot of time in bed and I have went with the cheap mattresses for over 50 years and almost got a sleep number bed, but after talking to people that have them, I realized that Tempur will be the better investment. I recommend to buy new sheets and pillows with a new mattress. AND get the mattress protector if you have pets that get on the bed (allowed or not) and kids, night #5 my dog tested it and boy was I feeling like a smart man. you will be the first to know if this bed doesn't hold up to the name. Like most consumers I understand that the Tempur range is not the most budget friendly options. Having said this - you only really buy a bed every 5 - 10 years and our Tempur-ProAdapt has changed the game. Gone are aches and pains, full night sleep, no tossing no turning. I cannot stress enough what a difference there is between our TempurPedic and any of the previous beds I have ever owned. I cannot go back to any other brand ! Love this bed !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm Mattress is AMAZING!! It is so soft and cushiony yet firm at the same time!! The mattress is definitely made of some heavy duty material. I love how it conforms to my body and just basically holds me in place! After sleeping on this bed for about a week, I have noticed a significant difference in how much I wake up in the middle of the night! At first, my back kind of hurt because I stayed in one spot all night, so I felt stiff... but the more I use it, my body is getting used to it! I also love how it has a removable and washable cover on it! This mattress is absolutely wonderful! I'd completely recommend it to anyone considering it!!

Normally it takes me forever to go to sleep and toss and turn . But not with this bed ! I'm out in less than 15 minutes! That's a huge difference for me . This bed is like sleeping on a firm marshmallow! It's soft fits to your body .
