It's a very comfortable bed. It took some adjusting. I would wake with sore shoulders but I was warned about the break in period. I now don't wake to sore shoulders. We do have an adjustable base. I get hot sleeping and this bed isn't a cool temperature bed. The dense foam holds heat. We have an upgraded mattress pad that's suppose to help but I still run hot. Keep in mind I live in MN and it was winter when I bought it. My wife even said she gets warm. I think I'm going to buy the mattress protector the sales man said people complained about being too cold. Great mattress but holds heat.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! We bought this bed 2 1/2 years ago, on recommendation from a family member.... salesman at Slummerland pushed this mattress...now I know why... depressions with mid bed "ridge" VERY uncomfortable on back and joints!!!! The 10 year warranty was denied... "depressions not deep enough".... NOW WORKING TO TELL EVERYONE NOT TO BUY TEMPUR PEDIC!!!!!!!!

I expected that it would probably take a few weeks to settle in to a new mattress but was very surprised that it was so comfortable from day one. I have back pain and being able to adjust the mattress position with the Ergo base has helped my back pain tremendously. I am getting a much more restful night of sleep.

My husband and I were miserable with the various beds we tried. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bed. But we finally realized we weren't getting enough restful sleep and it was effecting us mentally and physically. Would definitely recommend spending the money. Your back, hips, knees, shoulders, etc. will thank you.

This mattress welcomes you quickly as it adjusts to your weight, and supports the body in a lovely way. We went from a split king to a full king mattress, and it has changed our lives. We get much deeper sleep and do not toss and turn as much, but my husband hogs a lot more : ) LOVE it!

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. This mattress is VERY firm, it works well for my husband's back but too firm for me, luckily, I read the reviews and one person stated the mattress topper solved the probuand it really did! However, if there are two of you, I would highly recommend getting the split to keep everyone happy, especially when one wants the head up and the other would like it flat.

I love this mattress and adjustable base and especially the massage unit. Unfortunately the massage motor started going "weird" on me, almost stopping while massaging. Called customer service and a new replacement motor was installed within a week. I cannot say enough about the customer service rep., along with the service rep. Thank you for a wonderful bed! I should have bought one years ago.
