Suggested changes in your design

Well built and sturdy cabinet. Would be better if the drawers opened fully. This is especially important with shallow draws, because you can't see or easily access items in the rear of the drawers. Spending a bit more on drawer sliders that extend 100% would make the cabinets more useful and convenient. Also, the self closing mechanism makes it a bit more difficult to open the drawer than we are used to.

Shipping damage

It's a heavy duty unit and that's wonderful. Most work carts this size are standard duty. It could have been protected better for shipping. It arrived with a lot of damage but the idea of repacking this, loading it and returning is just too much. So I'll live with the damage. We had to gentle bend things out to even get it assembled there was so much damage. That's hugely disappointing.

Very Sturdy!

Very nice, easy to build, very sturdy. Much better than some I've found on popular online retail! These are the real deal. I ordered 2 and the FedEx driver said I have 2 very large and heavy boxes, where do you want them. Assembling them I could tell the frame was hefty, not just thin sheet metal! It took a while to assemble, but only because its done right with lots of bolts. . not sheet metal screws.

UltraHD® 6-Drawer Cabinet

I bought this UltraHD® 6-Drawer Cabinet to match the existing Seville granite color steel garage storage unit I have. I had a professional handyman assemble it. All parts had identifiable parts labels and the instructions guided him to assemble it with relative ease. This small cabinet in weighty at about 150 lbs. The wheels are super beefy and the unit locks. I chose this unit because of the 6 dr capability of organizing different tools and garage needs.

Giving this away

I've had this for a couple years but haven't ever really been happy with it. The biggest frustration is the drawers seem a bit flimsy and sometimes don't close fully. I've replaced it with a much sturdier tool chest from a home improvement store that sells for much less.

Straight to the chase...

Bottom line... Downside: you will have to assemble it, and it takes some time Upside: once assembled, you cannot match the quality or value for the intended purpose. Approximate assembly time: 2-3 hours. (you will get faster if you do more than one.) Materials quality, fit and finish are excellent. Not difficult to assemble. Instructions are clear. Once assembled, very sturdy construction. I have had a lot of storage cabinets. This is the best I have owned.

Assembly is Ridiculous! 216 Screws!!

This is a nice looking, sturdy chest with drawers, but don't buy it unless you are self-quarantining and have plenty of time to waste. I knew this was going to be a big project when I opened it and found - yes - 216 screws!!!! However, they include a screwdriver for your convenience. I tried my cordless but it really doesn't help much. Also, you must be careful - the screws strip easily and you can't tighten them until each drawer is assembled, forcing you to go around and tighten every screw AGAIN. For the price, it should come assembled. Come on Sam's Club - Up your game!

2 hours to assemble, LOTS of parts...but it's nice

In line with other reviewers, this took a really long to assemble, and just when you think you're done - you've got a whole other drawer. It was really frustrating and insane. The instructions were clear enough, although a couple of the stickers saying "top" or "left" were on wrong! Which renders them useless. Either way - it's together now...and it looks nice and feels nice. But put a beer (or a few) in the fridge as step 1, because you're gonna want one after what-seems-like your 10,000th screw.

AMAZING! :-)

Once again, Seville Classics impresses. Think I'm at the point that I'm just ordering items, JUST to find a design flaw, but WOWWED every time... I've put together tons of stuff over the years, but most of the time, if you don't square things up, doors and drawers don't close properly. I mean, who reads the part where it says: "don't tighten everything up until the unit is completely assembled"? Notice how most of Seville's items don't mention this? They must have put a ton of engineering into their fabrication equipment, and hold very strict quality control standards. Ever notice how there's play or wiggle-room while fastening everything, BUT in the end, it STILL turns out right? I don't miss screaming and throwing tools, but I am forever puzzled at how accurate and hassle-free their stuff is. Even their powder-coating paint is always flawless! Be careful while reading the negative reviews, be sure to see if other customers clicked whether the review was helpful or not. I never gave a bad review because an item arrived damaged, these things happen, but were never part of the plan. I fee the same about restaurant reviews... Don't care how bad the service is, if you got a incredible product or dish, I'll keep coming back, lol. :-)

Verified Purchase

Good Quality Cabinet, Poor Quality Fasteners

Assembly is VERY much required!! There were over 220 screws. If you plan on rolling this to the area you are doing work and have several areas you have to work at, there's a good chance the screws will vibrate loose. I highly recommend using thread locker on all or most of the fasteners. The reason for this is that they are all Phillips-head screws. It's nearly impossible to get enough torque on a Phillips-head screw to prevent it from loosening. Some mild/medium strength thread locker will prevent this. However, that means you have to get it right the first time! With that said, if you are not confident in your assembly skills you should hold off on assembly and order some better fasteners. I recommend Torx-bit fasteners, but Allen-bit fasteners will work as well and better in most cases. One advantage of the hex-bit fasteners is that you can use the rounded-head hex-bits that allow you to tighten the fasteners at an ANGLE which will allow you to use a cordless driver/screwdriver/drill. Most of the fasteners are too close to a obstacle to tighten with a power tool. Many are too close to tighten with a screwdriver! Therefore, an Allen-head screw and a rounded head Allen-Head bit will allow you to tilt the driver and make speedy work of screwing in the 220+ screws!
