We have a Beauty Rest Black C-Class Pillow Top. Worst money we ever spent, and it was not cheap. (4,699). It is now nearly three years old, and the Pillow Top stays depressed, except for the middle, which no one sleeps on. We are not ‘large’ people, so the weight is not a factor. Sadly, we are stuck with it as it will be a few years until we can replace it with something else. Honestly, I would give zero stars if it were an option.

The craftsmanship is amazing on this mattress, I love the designs sewn into it. After laying on it for roughly an hour the bed still felt cool and comfortable! I would highly recommend this mattress for back and side sleepers. I actually woke up today without my back hurting! ❤️

So comfortable! Classic medium mattress providing support for an excellent night sleep. My husband and I have very different sleep Patterns and we move around when sleeping. The mattress absorbs movement so we’re not waking each other up. So happy with our purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I tell you this Beautyrest Mattress has saved me, I am not exaggerating! My husband and I share a bed, he talks and moves a lot in his sleep. I have gotten used to being woken up many times a night. I didn't realize how much being woken up every hour or so affected me until we switched to the Beautyrest series 3 Pillow top queen mattress. It has triple-stranded pocketed coil technology that helps stabilize and drastically decreases the movement of another person on the bed. I now barely feel my partner moving or getting in and out of bed and vice versa! I wake up feeling refreshed, It's amazing! I love the aesthetics this mattress gives with the sleek black color. It looks high quality and feels luxurious. The black will help hide any future marks and/or stains over the years instead of white, which stands out even with the smallest of marks. The medium pillow top mattress is quite firm, if I could go back and get a bit of a softer mattress or thicker pillow top. I would have preferred that. That is my only qualm about this bed. Which is more of a preference than a complaint. This mattress is still very supportive and contours perfectly to the body. I love this beautyrest black mattress and much prefer it to my other beds. There is so much built into this one mattress. It's amazing they fit it all in! It's 16.5 inches thick, has micro diamond memory foam, advanced temperature management, to help regulate body temperature and so much more. It is the most peaceful night of sleep you will have. I can't wait for what beautyrest comes up with next. I will purchase future beds from beautyrest and suggest you try beautyrest black if you want the best sleep you've had in years!

From a functionality perspective, it is very comfortable as a pillow top medium. I don't feel like I'm sinking but it doesn't feel stiff either. My back feels great after a full night's sleep! I also don't feel as hot as I did with my old mattress. The material feels high quality.

It isn't too plushy and soft which is perfect for me, and it doesn't make me sweaty at night. I was surprised at the height of the pillow top and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to test such an amazing product!! This mattress is very very comfortable when you’re first laying on it. It has a pretty thick pillow top for extra comfort. However, I do find myself sinking into the mattress quite a bit and once I am sunk in far enough, I begin to feel uncomfortable and like the bed is way too hard/firm. This mattress is supposed to be “medium” firmness and I agree that it probably would be once it was broken in and used for a couple of years. However, it is too firm for me and my boyfriend. We ended up putting an additional memory foam topper on it and now it seems to be pretty perfect for comfort! The biggest downfall of this mattress is how HEAVY it is. This is the heaviest mattress I’ve ever lifted. It was really tough to get in onto the bed frame even with my boyfriends help. I know mattresses get heavier with time as well since they collect dead skin cells and whatever else. This worries me for how heavy this mattress will be in a few years! I move a lot so it could potentially be an issue for that. However, the weight of this mattress proves to me how high quality and nice it is. I love that this mattress is black! Great for hiding dirt/moisture spots that inevitably happen over time. However, could be deceiving in the future if something does soak through the mattress and I can’t figure out where the stain is or if the stain has been removed or not. I suppose I will cross that bridge when I get there. The only other downfall of this mattress is that it’s very thick and high up. Luckily this isn’t an issue for me and my boyfriend because we are young and healthy. This would be an incredibly hard mattress to use if you had any sort of physical limitation or are of old age/lack height. When using this mattress with nothing on it but a fitted sheet, we did feel like it kept us cool and had great temperature control. Now that we have all of our other sheets and blankets and pads on the bed, that temperature control isn’t as good as it used to be. This mattress is incredibly expensive to purchase. I do think it’s worth the price if you are okay with the disadvantages mentioned above. It is incredibly durable, well-made, and supportive. I have a feeling I’ll have this mattress for years and years and years to come and it won’t do me wrong. Overall, I would recommend this mattress.

Overall, the mattress is designed with premium materials that are both durable and comfortable. The downside is the sizing as it feels much smaller than anticipated. For example, my husband and I have owned a queen bed for years which was plenty of space for us. However, the mattress, listed as a Queen size, is noticeably smaller in width than what I'm used to. It feels more along the sizing of a twin XL, so I would recommend sizing up.
