[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last few years my wife had said that we needed a new mattress but I couldn't understand why because I thought we were sleeping fine. I finally gave in after I hurt my back trying to flip out king size mattress. We shopped around and finally decided on a Tempur-ProAdapt mattress. What a difference our purchase made. No more tossing and turning throughout the night and even better no more back pain in the morning. I had always attributed all of my morning aches and pains as just part of getting older. I was totally wrong. Now when I wake up in the morning I can actually hop out of bed and be ready to go. I no longer have to slowly stand up to get my back to the point where I can actually walk. Another really wonderful result of the new mattress is that neither of us feels the other one getting into or out of the bed allowing the other to continue to sleep undisturbed. Hands down this mattress is the best purchase we have made in regards to our comfort and well being.

I'm heavy. My previous Tempurpedic medium mattress would sag at contact points after a few nights, aggravating my degenerative spin and causing numbness and pain and impaired mobility. After a couple of weeks on this mattress no pain no numbness. The firmness took a couple of nights to adapt to, but even my 100 lb wife found good sleep after a couple of nights.

This bed is made beautifully - I love everything about it... EXCEPT it is way too firm for what I thought a medium bed should be. My husband likes a firm mattress, I like them softer, so we thought a medium hybrid would be perfect. He is a big man (over 6'4 about 300 lbs.) and I'm half that. What I love is that I don't feel him move throughout the night, or getting up. I don't roll into the center and into him due to the difference in our weight. What I don't like is that I feel like I'm sleeping on the floor. I have tried this bed for 8 weeks now, and it hasn't gotten better. I wake with a back ache (between my shoulder blades) and I'm so disappointed my body won't adjust. I will be returning it for a softer feeling mattress and hopefully, my husband will adjust because he just loves it the way it is....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the king size bed for my husband as he was having sleep issues. No more - he loves the bed and rests so much better. We are waiting for the installers to return my call to customer service last week as the adjustable frame was not installed correctly (the mattress slides off the foot of the bed frame if we put the bed in the upright position). Pending their satisfactory correction if that issue I can't say enough good things about the bed.

We got this California King sized mattress to replace a waterbed insert mattress that we had kept way past its expiration date! We expected an initial adjustment period. But from the 1st night, it felt great! It fit perfectly inside our waterbed frame, and was the perfect thickness to let us roll out of bed without landing on the hard sideboards of that frame. The only negative thing I can think to say about this mattress is that the "Law Tag" was nowhere I could find. And the website was of absolutely no help in pointing me to the right spot to look for it. That tag has the serial number of the mattress that the online registration process requires. I ended up calling customer support, and they registered my mattress without that S/N. Still, it would be helpful if the online registration function, knowing which mattress you are trying to register, could direct you to EXACTLY where the tag could be found. Another way to be helpful about this would be to encourage retail store delivery staff to show customers this tag so the S/N could be recorded BEFORE this heavy mattress gets put in its "final resting place". P.S. I'm not writing this review because it qualifies me for entry into a monthly prize drawing (Big deal ... I never win anything ;-) I'm writing it, hoping that someone will actually fix the online website as suggested above. While it is no longer an issue for me, it will continue to needlessly frustrate future customers. You're welcome!

Mattress is replacing while I have had for the past 10 years. I absolutely love my new mattress it is very firm which is needed for my back issues. I slept great the first night and since then, no time to adjust to a new feel, it was amazingly comfortable.

This bed has Caused me back pain! it's so uncomfortable, I toss and turn all night. We originally purchased the Medium Hybrid and exchanged it for the soft, but it's still really hard and now I'm stuck with a $6,000 bed I can't sleep on. I called Tempur Pedic to ask if they could send me a mattress topper to see if that would help, but they said "no, sorry. Would you like to speak to our sales dept?" Gee, thanks a lot. What can you expect when you spend $6,000 on a bed? I guess nothing! Please don't waste your money. This bed is so overrated and truly Not worth it!

I have had the new mattress, pillows and sheets now for about 30 days. So far I like it a lot, almost love but too soon to give it that. Humans spend a lot of time in bed and I have went with the cheap mattresses for over 50 years and almost got a sleep number bed, but after talking to people that have them, I realized that Tempur will be the better investment. I recommend to buy new sheets and pillows with a new mattress. AND get the mattress protector if you have pets that get on the bed (allowed or not) and kids, night #5 my dog tested it and boy was I feeling like a smart man. you will be the first to know if this bed doesn't hold up to the name. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seemed quite firm even after trying all the break in techniques offered. Swapped it for a Soft but that still seems firmer than we are used to. For the price, we should be able to swap more that one time and without the $175 fee.

I bought the Breeze hybrid first and HATED it - it was like sleeping on a rock and I woke up sore and cranky every morning. We used the comfort guarantee offered at the store to exchange the mattress for the ProAdapt Hybrid and I LOVE it! I don't want to get out of bed in the morning! Supportive but not hard, soft but not squishy. It cost us to make the exchange but I am so happy we decided to do it.
