Wife and I were mattress shopping and overwhelmed by the caspers, purple, avocado, zinus (yes these are mattress companies!) we were lucky enough to have a local mattress store that we could try the mattresses in person! We immediately fell in love. I have bad back and shoulder pain and this mattress has really helped a ton. I no longer find myself tossing and turning in the middle of the night. My wife had also noticed the same and really loves the mattress. We both look forward to going to bed now! Too hard to explain in detail but trust me it's worth it!

I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. I sleep on my side so I elected to go with the Soft- ProAdapt mattress. My previous mattress was 8 years old so it was definitely time for an upgrade. This mattress changed my life! No more waking up in the morning feeling tired from tossing turning all night. Its so soft it feels like you are sleeping on a cloud!!! This is truly the best mattress on the market.

Our previous mattress was a Beauty Rest Black Ice Hybrid model that was comparatively priced (during a sale) and initially felt comfortable enough for us. During the first year I began to experience growing discomfort and at times pain in my hip and leg. Being 60 years old I thought it was my arthritis and began to look at ways to "live" with this mattress. I purchased mattress toppers and found one that worked well (My Pillow) but began to notice a slight sag in the sides of the mattress. I began a warranty claim and received 100% credit for my 4 year old mattress. I did my research (again) and came back to what should have been my first choice all along the Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. From the first night my wife and I fell asleep quickly and soundly enjoying a deep restful sleep. While I cannot make medical claims about the benefits from this mattress I can state that my hip and leg pains have been greatly reduce. Overall we are enjoying the best nights sleep that we have had in a while, it is worth the premium price for the quality and I don't think I can put a value on the sleep quality.

I wasn't sure about how long the "break in period" would take but after two weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I began to feel the difference and sleep better and better. I thought I bought the wrong firmness but after the 4th week, I knew I made the correct choice. After sleeping on other types of memory foam mattresses for over 10 years, I am totally convinced there is nothing better than my Tempur-ProAdapt. I will never go back to those other types and brands. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for giving me "The Best" mattress I've ever owned. Know more back pains or waking up several times in the night. I can't think of one thing I don't like or am sorry I spent a little more for a Tempur-Pedic. This is a quality product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically like firm mattresses but ithis was too firm. I'm a side sleeper and it actually hurt my shoulder and arm because of the firmness. I returned it for pro adapt medium hybrid and I love it.

Let's just say, I finally found the perfect mattress. I looked for a year and tried 4 other mattresses before the proadapt firm. We sleep so comfortably and so sound like a baby. We sleep on back and side and it's fine either way. I will have a tempurpedic for the rest of my life.

I bought this bed because I was having major issues with back pain making it difficult to get out of bed in the morning - I opted to go with a firm mattress because this is what my mom had and it seemed to help her. My first night on this bed, it was so much firmer than anything else I had ever slept on before that I thought I had made a huge mistake in purchasing such a firm mattress. Our Tempur-ProAdapt -firm, king bed is the best bed ever. We purchased the Ergo Base (2) to make it a king. The vibration and ability to lift both head and feet is wonderful. The gentle vibration feels fabulous. We are getting the best night's sleep and wake rested and feeling great!

My wife and I have never had a tempur-pedic before, so although we wanted the upgrade, we were suspicious of the hype, especially about the reduction of body aches. Prior to this purchase, I had been waking up with stiffness & aches in my lower back and hip areas for some time. After the first night on our new mattress, I awoke the next morning - and every morning for the past 2+ weeks - totally free of aches & stiffness! We both have had more restful and deeper sleep, as well. The comfort level is better than we both thought possible. Highly recommended!
