While I understand that this brand is supposed to be the #1 seller, this bed is uncomfortable for my spouse and I. Having had 4 back surgeries and expecting at least 2 more in the future, we expected better results for his pressure points and cooling from the bed. He sleeps hotter now and can only lay in bed for a max of 3 hours. Not worth the 4K I have spent.

I purchased a bed from temper pedic about 2 years ago.Because my wife was having back surgery. It has been the most expensive and uncomfortable bed I have ever purchased. I get more comfort from a bed In a box. Do not waste your money on a temper pedic, mattress or bed frame. I contacted them about my warranty they were no help. I feel that I got a defect mattress because I am well past the breaking in period. If I could have gave zero stars I would have.

This mattress was purchased as a last resort after years of medical and non-traditional remedies failed to address insomnia. The TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm mattress is just what the doctor didn't know to order. I have sweet, uninterrupted dreams again. Thank you.

Before I would wake up, My back would be killing me and every joint in my body would hurt. Buying this is the best decision we could have made. It is not hot to sleep on. I do not toss and turn all night like I use to. I barely feel my husband move. I never thought I would sleep this well. I highly recommend this bed! We have not found any negatives yet.

After sleeping on my Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid for a month, I can honestly say that I am very pleased. There was an adjustment period for my body, because I had been sleeping on a too soft mattress, and for the mattress to be broken in. I was suffering a lot of pain during the day from Sciatica, but even during the adjustment period, my new mattress was alleviating my pain, allowing me to sleep. I purchased the adjustable base, also, which I am enjoying, as it helps with back pain and other health challenges. As a 78 year old, I did a lot of research before I purchased, seeking comfort, cooling, and a good investment, and this mattress and adjustable base, as well as the two cooling TempurPedic pillows are just what I needed. I would recommend it.

It takes some getting use to. I also purchased the adjustable base which is a game changer. I'm not sure if I am sleeping better just yet at two months but for the cost I hope to fully enjoy my new mattress & base. I love the firm mattress, and the adjustable base was a great addition though the legs could be a bit more sturdy.

I have always struggled to find a comfortable mattress as a side and stomach sleeper who has back and hip issues. With my previous mattress, I would wake up each morning with aches and pains, particularly in my lower back and hips. I have slept on this Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid for several nights now and I have been shocked by how refreshed I have been feeling in the morning. My back is feeling much better throughout the day and I've not had to take any pain relief medication since switching to this mattress. I really like the combination of both coils and the TEMPUR material. I feel like it really does adapt to my body to relieve pressure in all the right places to help alleviate that pain I was feeling. I also have noticed that I don't get as hot at night, which I think is due to the "cooling technology" in the outer layer (which I have learned is removable and machine washable!!) My husband has also mentioned that my snoring has improved and I'm not tossing and turning all night long like "a fish out of water" in his words. He has loved the improvement in his sleep as well. Overall, I am a huge fan of this mattress and planning to now purchase one for my mother who has similar sleep issues as I suffered from. I will be sure to update my review in a few months and also share my mom's experience.

I normally toss and turn a lot at night because I can't get comfortable and I get really hot but this bed keeps me from sweating and I no longer wake up tossing and turning. I also have noticed that I don't have aches and pains when I wake up since I began sleeping on this bed, and I feel more rested. I really can't say enough good things about it. We have the best nights sleep now. We had heard rumors that we would need time to get used to our new mattress. We adapted the very first night. The most comfortable mattress ever. It also only takes us about 2 minutes to fall asleep, no more tossing and turning. We have been married for almost 40 years, so we have tested and owned quite a few mattress and this one is by far the best!
