I'm always skeptical of 5 star reviews since a radio station where I live is always talking about how many companies post a bunch of them to boost their sales, so I tend to read mostly 1 star reviews to see the negatives. Well, I did that for this mattress and saw so many people complaining about how the mattress is too firm or how they sink into the mattress and they can't even roll over or how the mattress is way too hot. For one, the mattress is definitely not too firm. It's "Medium Hybrid" so if you didn't want a decently firm mattress, maybe you shouldn't have ordered the next-to-most firm mattress. With that in mind, it's still not too firm. It's perfect. I don't wake up with a bunch of back pain like I used to. Secondly, if you are getting "stuck" in this mattress (the medium hybrid), then you are 100%, without a doubt, very overweight. I mean, you have to be if that is happening to you. Third, this is a cooling mattress. Few times have I slept on a cooler mattress in my life (if at all, ever). It feels great and definitely doesn't get super overheated feeling like people always say memory foam does. This is legit the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned, and I bought it without even first laying on it in a store. I've had it for at least a month, and I couldn't be more satisfied unless there is a deal I didn't know about where I pay less for the exact same mattress and it comes with servants who feed me while I lay here. Anyways, thanks so much tempur-pedic for making a mattress that has, for the most part, solved my sleeping woes.

Best money I've ever spent was on a good sleep from these fellas. My back doesn't hurt, my hips don't hurt, my shoulders don't fall asleep, and my wife is happy. Happy wife, happy life!

I have only been sleeping on the mattress for about a month, but I am sleeping better, longer, and with less pain. Last mattress was a 15 year old pillow top, that could explain it, but I feel going to a firm mattress was a great choice for me. I am now 60, and proper support is needed. Pain in neck, back, knees, and hips has greatly decreased. My wife says I sleep with less snoring and less movement than before. I get out of bed feeling much more refreshed and energetic. One drawback is the price, everything is expensive these days, but wow! Only time will tell, but if I feel better over time, it will be worth every penny. I hope this review will help others with their decision. For me, so far, it has been a sound choice.

The mattress is very good and we decided to buy the matching pillows. The wrong pillows were sent, because while I was shopping the pillows reset to the default of queen size instead of king size. The representative told me too bad and no returns or replacements.

Bought this mattress with hopes of eliminating pain in my hips and my back. All it has done it made worse. I also wake up with numbness in my tailbone area and my entire back hurts. Cannot get comfortable and am unable to sleep for more than a few hours at a time on it. Also the mattress retains way too much heat regardless of room temperature. Will not be buying another Tempur pedic mattress and frankly can't wait to get rid of this one and find a different brand.

As a result, my sleep quality has been greatly reduced for as long as I can remember. Since owning this mattress, my pain has been noticeably reduced. I am nowhere near as stiff as I used to be in the mornings. I fall asleep faster and stay cooler through the night as well. Excellent purchase. Would recommend. Would purchase again.

This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. This is my third Tempur-Pedic mattress (I'm 70). I absolutely love the support these mattresses offer. Some think you "sink in" too far, but not me. You "sink" to a degree, and then it stops, and you are supported, and then you rest. For my form, I am supported in the places that I need to be supported, and I love it!

We have been sleeping on this mattress for several weeks now. To be honest, the first couple of nights were worrying. Each night got better and now, I am very happy with the quality of rest we both enjoy. My former mattress gave me hip pain every night as I am a side sleeper. This TEMPUR-PorAdapt firm has totally eliminated my hip pain. Should have purchased this years ago.

I could't have chosen a better mattress. I sleep on my back, stomach, side and this particular model best accommodates these varied positions. And, the mattress is cool. I just love it. After trying for several months sleeping on different kinds of mattresses made of all organic wool (too stiff/hard and high maintenance), natural latex (too bouncy), cotton and wool (too hard), other kinds of foam (too flimsy), etc., I settled on Tempur-pedic Medium Hybrid. I've been sleeping on it for several weeks now and it is just a very comfortable substantial bed.
