This is our second Temper-Pedic bed system. Prior to this we had a king size mattress with a flat box base. Recently, I required two knee replacements. Replacing our single king size mattress with two side by side twin size mattreses with independant adjustable bases provided my dear wife and I with a bed system which helped my knee rehab without disturbing her.

I have 4 bulging discs in my back and sleeping had become so painful I'd opt to sleep on the floor or couch at times. I also sleep hot and experienced the heat of a poor quality memory foam. Since getting my ProAdapt Firm I'm finally able to sleep pain-free and get out of the bed without having to creatively "roll" out of bed. I am so in love and grateful. It was quite an investment, but it cut down on numbness and shooting pain was amazing. I did try the Pro Adapt Medium at first because I was afraid the Firm would be too stiff but boy was I wrong so I swapped it for the Firm...go with the Firm if you need the support. It will conform. It is AMAZING. If only I could afford the Tempur Breeze King-size in a Firm so I could get rid of my boyfriend's Nectar!!!!! I'd be winning everywhere.

We are still breaking it in but I will say it is the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. We did trade out the box springs for the smaller version because of height issues. We wished the box springs came in a small, medium, or large. We would have preferred a medium height. Still we are enjoying great sleep.

The soft mattress is great. The pillows are comfortable and the bed head and foot raising is great. My back feels a lot better in the morning. Only thing I wish I had gotten a king size vs queen. Always had a king bed but decided to downsize. It's still great.

I would give this 5 stars for comfort but am disappointed at how hot it gets in the summer. Of course I am offered an upgrade to the cool breeze if I want to spend another $1000. Disappointing that for as much as this mattress was that it sleeps so hot. Can not beat the comfort though, and since I live in a cooler climate the bed is perfect for half the year. My back pain has disappeared.

Purchased ours on 10/31/2020 so I wanted to wait a while to see how we liked the mattress. After almost 3 months we are both pleased with our purchase. We paid more for this mattress than we had ever before but the extra $$'s were worth it. Our back and neck pain have eased. I don't find myself waking up as many times a night. For years I've only been able to fall asleep on my side but with the TEMPUR-ProAdapt I find myself falling asleep on my back after only a few minutes. We bought the firm model and it took a few nights to get used to it but now as it slowly conforms to your body shape it seems to support you all over. All in all I can say it's the best mattress we've ever purchased.

My wife and I have been looking to buy a new mattress for some time. We both have back problems. I was looking at many different memory foam mattress but none of them will support weight over 200 lbs. Unbeknown to me my wife went furniture shopping before Christmas. She called me and asked me to come and check the mattress out. We decided on the Pro adapt medium split king. All I can say is we are both having the best sleep ever. We both wake up with no back or neck pain. After a week of sleeping on the new mattress, one evening I said to my wife that I could remember many years ago that I would never spend that kind of money on a bed. I am glad that we did.

Im typically a stomach sleeper but I can toss and turn, I usually wake up when I toss and turn but not with this mattress I can find myself waking up on my side in the morning on a full night's rest! It's supportive to cradle my whole body, even on my back it feels comfortable and I'm not that big of a back sleeper! highly recommended.

I love my new TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft mattress! I am a curvy middle-aged woman and I've finally found a super comfortable mattress that fully supports my lower back and hips in any sleeping position. I no longer awaken with sore hips and shoulders, and I sleep more soundly during the night because I'm not constantly changing positions to relieve pressure points. It's amazing how much more rested I feel in the morning and I've even started waking up before my alarm goes off!

I have been struggling with poor sleep and snoring for the past 3 years, Ocasionally having lower back pain, thought it was related to testosterone or chemical imbalance but in the end it looks like it was always my mattress and sleep position. I generally would wake up for work at 5:30am and by 10:00am nearly every day would be dead tired and needing a nap. But because I couldn't, I would load up on caffeine, soda or snacks to keep me awake. Once I got home at 3:30pm I would finally get a nap. Right away within 2 days after I got the ergo and pro-adapt bed I was sleeping better, we raised the head up by only 2 inches or just enough my wife could still sleep on her side or stomach but where I could feel my sinuses were less restricted. Now we both sleep much better. She used to have stiffness in her upper back and occasional back pain. Now it is gone. Well worth the money we spent on it.
