I had just been recovering from a GI viral infection, and had my bed up on stilts in the back to stay elevated during sleep. I was sliding down my bed and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We were looking for a great high end adjustable mattress and bed frame for our existing very nice Restoration Hardware bed frame which we absolutely did not want to switch. Not only did the ProAdapt Cal-King we bought fit perfectly, it was way more comfortable that our previous mattress and the Ergo-Extend frame that we got with it converted our bed from really very good completely awesome. Bed on stilts, and sliding down the bed at night was a thing of the past. The memory foam is really very cool during sleep - not sure how that works exactly but it seems like it has to do with the way the outside of the mattress is textured as well as the type of material used on the surface. However it works, it seems to work quite well. The fitted sheets stay in place which was a concern (with an adjustable bed) but ended up working out fine. Just completely 100% happy with how this bed. Was very worried the frames would not fit, or the quality would be less than promised, but both the mattresses and the adjustable frames were absolutely rock solid, well constructed and amazingly top notch. The only issue we had was that well known fresh "memory foam" hot out of the factory oder that the mattresses have for the first 30-40 days. They promised it would go away after a little bit.. and I can report that yes it actually did. All and all I'd say money well spent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is nothing short of a miracle, gone for us are the days waking up feeling stiff somewhere or just needing to stretch. My wife and I live physical lives and are very fit. We purchased the firm option and its definitely not a bed you can just jump into as it feels like jumping on wood. That being said, as you lay in it, the mattress molds to your body in the most perfect manner. After a few weeks it does soften a bit but not in a bad way. Our sleep is phenomenal with absolutely no more night disturbances or tossing and turning. If you've had it with soft plush beds that leave you feeling sore each day I cannot recommend this one enough. So worth the extra dollars. Best investment we've made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is growing on me. The first night, I woke up with a hip ache from sleeping on my side. We've had this king size mattress for about a month now, and it's getting more comfortable as time passes and we break it in. I prefer a plush-type mattress and this is what me and my partner settled on for the both of us. I have sleep issues such as insomnia, tossing and turning, waking up frequently, back problems, etc. I can't say that this mattress has improved any of the issues I have that much. My back does feel a bit better compared to my last mattress. The mattress is comfortable when you are laying down. My partner really likes it, but he doesn't really have any sleep issues. Honestly, I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be with all the hype that Tempur-Pedic mattresses get. But I do think this is probably a great fit for some people out there. Just not sure if I'm that person since it's only been a month of sleeping on it. All in all, I do think I would recommend this to the right person. It is a nice mattress. But like I said, just not sure if it's for me, yet.

The delivery was excellent. I have had TEMPUPEDIAC beds for the last 15 years. The product is as expected. The out gassing process (smell) was quick, only a week. I got the medium hybrid thinking it would be between medium and firm. It is not as firm as I would like but comfortable.

I challenge anyone that has ever doubted Tempur-Pedic that you bought the wrong level of firmness! This is our second one. The first was over 9 years ago and is still going strong, but we went down to a queen!!! If you haven't tried it, you must!

From night one, I could instantly tell a difference in my overall sleeping experience. It took me less time to get comfortable and fall asleep and I also slept better and longer while waking up refreshed and well rested the next day. I highly recommend!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress for decades. We have found them to be firm, yet highly supportive. Quality sleep all revolves around finding the mattress that's best for you. We wouldn't choose anything else.

This bed was super firm, and so different than what we were used to in a traditional spring mattress. I went with firm bedside reviews say after a few years they soften a bit. This is like camping in a tent the first couple weeks. I'd say it really took 3-4 weeks to get used to. When you finally do get used to it, the sleep can't be beat. I slept so sound that first good night. I was skeptical and worried until that magical night about a month in. My husband acclimated more quickly around week two or three. I don't feel him get out of bed at 5am anymore! Another magical thing, I don't know how, but his insanely loud snoring is gone, and he rarely snores anymore at all! This bed is worth every penny for that reason alone!!
