[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my back pain exacerbated 2years ago, I bought a tempur-proadapt firm for my guest bedroom first because I didn't want to give up my beloved mattress. Over the course of a year, I would sleep on the mattress in the guest bedroom with each exacerbation to see if my back pain would go away. Each time with everything I took and did, my back pain would go away and I would go back to my bed only to have another exacerbation. After doing this back and forth, I realized my old mattress was causing the exacerbations. I gave up and bought a proadapt firm mattress and foundation for my queen bed and couldn't be happier.

Despite a delay in delivery, our mattress has turned out to be what we wanted. We went for the firm, which is similar to the conventional mattress we replaced, that was nearly 20 years old. It did take a couple nights to get used to the fact that it was actually firm (with reasonable give), but now after a month we are both sleeping well. Because we both tend to sleep in multiple positions, back, side and prone, I'm pleased that it seems accommodating to any position.

Delivery "forgot" to put our bed on the truck the first day with little apology, more like "oh-well, not our problem." After a conversation with them explaining the difficulty in being away from work as we are both directors in our respective companies, they promise to schedule delivery for the following week, later after 4pm. 5 days later my husband is pulled away from work at because they were on their way to deliver our bed, absolutely before 4, well before 4. To make it right they offered to send us 2 pillows. Fine, I was going to purchase new pillows anyways. Although it doesn't return the significant time away from work I don't have to shop for new pillows. This was the last correspondence from them 3 weeks ago, mid-September. Since then nothing, no emails, no pillows, and no answering the phone. I sent a follow up email from my email address, my name was used to purchase the bed but contact info was for my husband so he could coordinate things, quickly received a response telling me to go to the third party I purchased from. I purchased directly through the web site. I responded with this information and my husband's information and received a very rude and short response stating they couldn't find any record of my purchase with them so they couldn't help. I've finally sent the correspondence with my husband attached to my email. Let's see what happens. I suspect more of the same- nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really liking the ProAdapt so far, especially because it has an easy way to elevate both the head and legs with a simple click of a button. However, I wish it had been designed with the bed frame in mind. We had a bit of a struggle getting it set up and making it work well with the king-size frame I bought separately.

After countless hours of searching and reading reviews and even 2 other mattress trials, we finally decided to just go for it. I'll say we slept better and hurt less after the first night and it just keeps getting better.

This bed has allowed me to sleep on my side again without back pain, which I haven't been able to do for years on my spring mattress. I'm happy with that! The one downside is I probably didn't need the adjustable frame. I bought it because I assumed I'd be on my back and I thought it would be nice to have my legs elevated some. However, now that I can sleep on my side, I sleep with it flat. If I'd have known mattress was so helpful, I would have just gotten mattress with regular frame and saved money.

For years I've been tossing and turning at night and then waking achy and sore in the morning. I finally realized the problem could be the firmness of my mattress. By that point I had owned 2 Tempur-pedicure mattresses. So I did my research - again Tempur-pedic was the top choice. I ordered a Pro Adapt firm. What a HUGE difference!! I'm sleeping better than I have in years! every night is a treat. To say I'm happy with my purchase is an understatement. Highly recommend.

We have cycled through a number of mattresses, believing the hype, falling for the direct to consumer marketing, hoping beyond hope that the next mattress to arrive would be the one to solve all the aching sleepless nights. We finally broke down and ordered the Tempur-ProAdapt FIRM (the firm part is important!) after breaking through our weird thinking that a Tempur-Pedic mattress was out of reach for us. The mattress arrived and even the delivery team remarked on it's firm-ness. The first night of sleep was terrible for me because I was constantly waking up wondering if I was comfortable or not. The second night was a little better, the third night a little better...by the second week of sleeping on the mattress I honestly cannot imagine sleeping on anything else. We are combination sleepers - both side and back - and we are of average weights. The firm mattress supports our backs, doesn't make our arms fall asleep, and we stay asleep longer. In fact, I have been getting, on average, 1.5-2 more hours of sleep each night because I'm not driven from the bed by my discomfort!

I did my research and tried out different beds at different stores. When I found the Tempr-Pro Adapt firm mattress it gave me the support my body needed to relax into dreamland. Now I wake up every day feeling refreshed and revived.

Bought another Tempurpedic and I am very happy! Should have never switched from my original. Great nights sleep with NO aching body parts in the am.
