As a firm skeptic regarding super-positive reviews, I had doubts about this mattress even as I was purchasing it. But after a month I can say this mattress was a life-changing investment and five stars aren't enough! I haven't slept this well in nearly 10 years: no more waking up multiple times a night, no stiffness, and no neck or back pain. If you're on the fence, trust me, it's worth every penny!

The sides were finally getting very soft, I am now pregnant and began feeling more uncomfortable as each week passed. I had planned on getting the medium or medium-hybrid, but my husband and I went into a store to lay on them. We realized even the firm mattress had quite a bit of give once you laid down on it and that it seemed like the best option for us. We ordered online which was easy; the delivery company messaged us with a couple of delivery date/time frame options. They came in, took our old mattress, replaced it with the new one, and now we are on to better sleep! I am so comfortable on this mattress, can barely feel when my husband moves, and if it wasn't for our noisy cat I would be sleeping through the night. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the title described, I broke my back in my youth (twice / 3 vertebrae total) along with ribs and other bones. To say that it is hard to find comfort on a bed is an understatement, and my husband similarly. At first I thought it was a little too stiff but just give it 15 minutes and the places that are putting pressure on the bed will really sink in. I ordered direct from the website. The mattress was scheduled to be delivered about a week later. The drivers were top notch and quite courteous, took all the trash with them and did all the lifting. Great follow through as well from the web order staff afterwards to make sure everything was okay. The first night your body is getting used to it, the second night you sleep quite soundly, the third night you start to realize your husband isn't snoring anymore. Worth it's weight in gold! ~M

I did my homework and found out that the Tempur-ProAdapt was the replacement for our old mattress. My wife was a little hesitant at first but she went along with my choice. What a difference! It was like sleeping on the old mattress when it was new. It may feel really firm but it truly conforms to your body giving you the best sleep. I have extreme back issues but after sleeping on the new Temp-ProAdapt I felt like a new man again. Thanks Tempur-Pedic!

This mattress is very firm and does not pair well with an adjustable base,I bought this mattress online so it is not fault of temper pedic,but ultimately I had to send it back. Still trying to find a mattress that will replace my 89 year old mother's original temper pedic mattress she loved but they don't make their original temper pedic mattress anymore and now she has to sleep in an uncomfortable recliner because her original mattress is to worn out to sleep on and hurts her back.

It is a firm/medium feel. You can sleep close to the edge without falling off. My back pain is much less then before. But not totally gone. I have only been sleeping on it for about a month. The big question is, was it worth the money? If you have an extra $4,000 it would be fine. I wouldn't go into debt to get one.

I tried in store, was very comfortable. When this was delivered much to hard. I gave it 4 weeks. Would awake with back pain. They did pick up mattress but had to pay for foundation. $400. They wanted me to pay for shipping but explained I was having to take a day off work to be home. So they did let me out off shipping charge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is growing on me. The first night, I woke up with a hip ache from sleeping on my side. We've had this king size mattress for about a month now, and it's getting more comfortable as time passes and we break it in. I prefer a plush-type mattress and this is what me and my partner settled on for the both of us. I have sleep issues such as insomnia, tossing and turning, waking up frequently, back problems, etc. I can't say that this mattress has improved any of the issues I have that much. My back does feel a bit better compared to my last mattress. The mattress is comfortable when you are laying down. My partner really likes it, but he doesn't really have any sleep issues. Honestly, I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be with all the hype that Tempur-Pedic mattresses get. But I do think this is probably a great fit for some people out there. Just not sure if I'm that person since it's only been a month of sleeping on it. All in all, I do think I would recommend this to the right person. It is a nice mattress. But like I said, just not sure if it's for me, yet.
