This is our second experience with TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses. We purchased one in years ago and it is still in use today by another family member. We passed it along to another family member due to heat generated while sleeping. We were pleased to find that TEMPUR-PEDIC adapted to newer technology and incorporated COOL technology into the Pro Adapt mattress. The mattress is comfortable, however, it does not retain the coolness that was experienced as we tested the model in the store. We feel this could be caused by the TEMPER-PEDIC factory mattress cover we purchased and installed. Overall the mattress is good and we are happy with the performance. We believe the defining test will be during our high humidity, hot Florida summer that is fast approaching.

Glad that we replaced our memory foam mattress with the Temper Pedic. Once you get used to this style of sleep product, it is the most restful night if sleep you get. No sore joints or back and no you don't wake up when a partner gets out of bed or moves around. So glad we got this mattress!

We had a Tempurpedic mattress in the past, after ten years decided to retire it, and to save money purchased another brand. Big mistake, I slept horribly and tried two different toppers to help, so no luck and with a sore back we had enough. Returned the toppers, it was too late for the mattress. But we went back to Tempurpedic and got this model and we LOVE it! We will never go back. No more back ache and clocking in hours of sound sleeping. Thank you!

So a couple of things to keep in mind, the mattress takes a while to break in and can sleep warmer than other mattresses. With this in mind, choose appropriate bedding, my wife, and I use cooling sheets and blankets as anyone might in the summertime. After the bed breaks in, it does hug your curves and supports you completely. I have had ours now for two months and feel amazing benefits, no back or neck pain, worth the investment. We have tried other companies that ship in a box, and this is just superior quality and manufacturing. One thing I would like to note is they do have the top cooling layer to their bed with the tight-knit material, but you don't notice when sheets are on, unless you sleep directly on, which I know most would not do as it may void a warranty from stains. I wish Tempurpedic would offer the same quality of knitting for the bed as a sheet or blanket set. Pro is the comfort you will obtain, its truly unlike any other bed and it shows how they made memory foam their own. A con, it's relatively expensive, but its made in the USA and they employ US workers, this means a lot to my family. I suggest this bed for anyone with back pain or special conditions. Perhaps another suggestion I could make is most other companies will offer a full money back warranty with no restocking fees and an extended trial period, Tempurpedic is more conservative compared to others, but, they most likely incur more costs than the others do. Excellent mattress, try it out at a store first before buying, as there are many models. Its all about the right feel for you and your body type/preferences. Great bed, sleeping well! Cannot wait to go to bed each night with our new King Pro-Adapt Firm Mattress. We have been through at least 10 different mattresses over the last 15 years or so and I was always afraid to pull the trigger and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Finally did and kick myself for not doing it sooner. This is the best feeling mattress ever. I will never go back to an inner spring nor could I ever see myself sleeping on a "Bed-In-A-Box" mattress. I sleep better, more soundly. I don't find myself getting hot with this mattress as some people have complained about. Tem[ur-Pedic may not be for everyone, but I, myself am glad I took the plunge. Oh, and my husband loves it too.

As a kid, I always fantasized about getting a Tempur-pedic mattress, so once my husband started to complain about his back hurting on out 12 year old mattress, I knew what we needed to do. We went in for the hype of the purple mattress, but when that fell short in our support category, we started trying out the temper-pedic. The pro adapt firm, is FIRM, SO SUPPORTIVE. The first time I laid on it I laughed because it was so stinking hard, but after we crawled around "hands and knees" as directed by our salesman. I can say that this bed feels like it was MADE for me. It is so supportive but is forgiving in all the right spots!

We've had the bed for 5 months and my chronic back pain is gone. Before I got this bed I would go to bed in constant pain due to arthritis. Since I got this bed nightly back pain is gone. It took me awhile to get used to the feel (a couple weeks) but once I was used to it, it was great! This bed is worth the price.

We always love tempurpedic mattresses for their quality and great for our backs. We are waiting for our cal king mattress to wear out so we can replace it with another tempurpedic mattress soon.

i went to a very old classic tempurpedic that should have been thrown out 5 years ago, so getting the new mattress had some getting used too...not having the slump on your back is a totally different feeling, but after a short break in period, it has been a long overdue comfort everyone should have. I was stupid to not have gotten one sooner.
