The 1st night slept great-much more support than our 3-year old Cloud Supreme (a soft-medium mattress), The next few weeks were not as great, had traded in my neck pain for shoulder pain. Switched to a higher and firmer Bamboo pillow and that has surely helped. Wife has found new mattress better for her lower back. Overall, an improvement, Verdict is still out whether we will keep it or switch to the medium ProAdapt model.

We have always hesitated on Tempurpedic due to price, however we are so glad we decided to go ahead and get it because you get what you pay for and we now have the BEST BED EVER! So dont hesitate, just do it, and get pillows, sheets, and adjustable bed too... Its like sleeping in Heaven!!

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! I had my previous tempurpedic for 17 years and it was time to get a new one. I was really undecided between the medium and the firm. In the store the medium felt too soft and the firm felt too firm. I have alot of spinal back and neck issues so I decided to go with the firm. I figured I could always put a mattress topper on it if necessary. I'm so glad I went with the firm. No topper needed. It took about a week to get used to the firmness but now I feel like I like the support of the firmness and the conforming nature of the top layers. After sleeping on the firm now for about a month, I feel confident that the medium would definitely have been too soft for my back. For reference purposes I weigh about 230 lbs. I feel the upper layers contouring within the first few minutes after getting on the mattress. Although it's a pricey mattress compared to others, I feel it's worth it and I'm glad I went with the tempurpedic again. Definitely also glad I went with the firm.

I purchased the soft model of this mattress because I don't like firm and I have the mattress for almost 4 weeks now and it's still so firm they told me to give some time to adjust but I have more back pain ever sense I start sleeping on it. This mattress plus base cost over $4k and it's not comfortable at all will definitely return it.

I like the feel of the mattress and its support. I have the Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid California King. Before purchasing I read comments regarding "sleeping hot" but I did not take them seriously. If you purchase this mattress I believe that you will feel the hotness as I am awaken by it numerous times during the night. Again, it a good mattress with a wonderful feel to its sleeping surface but it is the "hotness" that ruins it for me. I recommend this product but with the aforementioned provisos. Pretty unhappy now and I don't know what to do.

My husband and I saw immediate improvement in quality of sleep on our first night with the new mattress. Full night sleep, no muscle aches when rising in the morning, less waking up at night with neck and back aches. Immediate comfort when getting to bed at night. We switched from a Sterns and Foster to the Tempur-pedic because my husband was hoping to seek relief from morning back and hip pain after sleeping. He has experienced relief.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the king size bed for my husband as he was having sleep issues. No more - he loves the bed and rests so much better. We are waiting for the installers to return my call to customer service last week as the adjustable frame was not installed correctly (the mattress slides off the foot of the bed frame if we put the bed in the upright position). Pending their satisfactory correction if that issue I can't say enough good things about the bed.

After 25 years on our old Tempurpedic we decided our old bodies needed a new mattress. The Tempurpedic ProAdapt medium hybrid was sooo comfortable and made our backs feel great. What a fantastic mattress. Thank you Tempurpedic for improving your mattresses!
