I was told by the sales associate that I wouldn't like it for the first week and at least until it was broken in like the one on display which was around 6 months old. I have to be extremely honest with you, from that very first night I slept on it, was the best night of sleeping. I have noticed an improvement in my posture and my back doesn't hurt when I get up in the morning. Quality is outstanding. I can't find anything wrong with it at all.

I'm 57 years old and for 25 years I woke up with lower back pain, literately had to grab my knee to get out of bed every single morning. I cannot be more pleased with my mattress. I never thought a mattress like my hybrid existed. It has by far exceeded ALL standards of perfection for me. I struggled with the price, trust me I did. Typically, we have a 30-60 day acclimation period . This product was an excellent choice with no "break in" period or any discomfort from the start. We are very pleased with our choice. It is now very difficult to get out of bed on these cold winter morning here in Minnesota!!!! And movement by either of us does not disturb the other. Motionless!!! Awesome.

Our previous mattress was a Beauty Rest Black Ice Hybrid model that was comparatively priced (during a sale) and initially felt comfortable enough for us. During the first year I began to experience growing discomfort and at times pain in my hip and leg. Being 60 years old I thought it was my arthritis and began to look at ways to "live" with this mattress. I purchased mattress toppers and found one that worked well (My Pillow) but began to notice a slight sag in the sides of the mattress. I began a warranty claim and received 100% credit for my 4 year old mattress. I did my research (again) and came back to what should have been my first choice all along the Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. From the first night my wife and I fell asleep quickly and soundly enjoying a deep restful sleep. While I cannot make medical claims about the benefits from this mattress I can state that my hip and leg pains have been greatly reduce. Overall we are enjoying the best nights sleep that we have had in a while, it is worth the premium price for the quality and I don't think I can put a value on the sleep quality.

I love my new TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft mattress! I am a curvy middle-aged woman and I've finally found a super comfortable mattress that fully supports my lower back and hips in any sleeping position. I no longer awaken with sore hips and shoulders, and I sleep more soundly during the night because I'm not constantly changing positions to relieve pressure points. It's amazing how much more rested I feel in the morning and I've even started waking up before my alarm goes off!

If you like a firm mattress, this one is for you, but try medium firm in a store first to be sure.

I was waking three to four times in a seven hour period with my previous mattress for years. I have had my mattress for about a month now. I wake 0-1 times a night now. But I do think that the bed base has a lot to do with it also. You really need them both to get the effect that you need.
