This is disgusting and smells horrible. Wet and slimy when you open the package. Very greasy as well. Bring back the yard o beef from hillshire farm. This is not comparable at all. We tossed the whole package!

I bought this sausage two days ago. It is very soft on the inside.The taste is not good. Even my dog spit it out. I throw it the whole tube away. Ido not recommend the sausage at all

Color seemed off, most summer sausages are darker in color. The consistency seemed off too, like the moisture content was too high. It reminded me more of liverwurst than summer sausage. It tasted weird too, ate one peiece and threw the rest away. I had to double check the date, but it was well before the date on the package. I know I have bought this brand elsewhere and it was not like this, but I will never buy this brand again!

Wish I had read the reviews. I bought this based on having the regular sized Bridgford summer sausage from Walmart, but it's very different and I wouldn't recommend. This sausage seems like it was brined. Maybe to add to the weight? When I cut into it, juices shot all over. It was saltier and mushier than a normal summer sausage. The smell and taste were not appetizing. After a small bite, I threw the whole thing away.
