This has been a great bed so far. I used to have some hip and shoulder pain and that has gone away after sleeping on this bed. Getting rid of the pain is exactly what I had hoped for. It does sleep a little warmer than my old bed, but that hasn't been an issue at this point. It wasn't too warm when the weather was warmer and now that it is getting colder, I don't mind a little extra warmth. It will be interesting to see how it is in the heat of the summer next year. The bed is nice and soft, which is what I was looking for. It took me a couple of weeks to adjust to it, but it has definitely improved my sleep quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok. FIRST NIGHT SLEEP WAS AMAZING!!! No tossing and turning. I received the Tempur Lux Adapt Hybrid and OMG!! The mattress is first off is like sleeping on a cloud that doesn't sink but like meets your body contours. I usually wake up multiple times a night trying to readjust myself comfortably but that just wasn't needed on the first night of my new mattress. Im in love and can't wait to just get more restful sleep .!!!!

Wife wanted new bed and wanted a Tempur-Pedic, I was a little skeptical but it was well worth it. Both of us are sleeping better than ever ! She complained about the old bed if I got up in the night she would feel me getting in and out of bed. No more, if I get up it does not bother her.

Before purchasing the Luxe Adapt Soft I had the basic Adapt Medium Hybrid. The new mattress is much better for my neck and back. I have had it for a month now and it is taking some time to get used to it because I have always had a firm all my life, which does provide better back support. Due to my age (77), and my being a side sleeper, the sales personnel recommended the soft.

Best mattress I've ever owned period. Had another Temper-pedicure that lasted me 15 years and I never thought it would get better than that. Then comes along the Luxeadapt and I was wrong. My only minor gripe would be that it gets VERY hot. Small price to pay for sleeping on a cloud.

The first time I sat down on this bed I didn't know what to think. It felt SO different than other beds I have had. Was that a good or a bad thing? The more I sat on it, the more I realized it was like sitting in a marshmallow. A gloriously supportive, comforting, firm (yet soft!) marshmallow. And sleeping on it? Omg. I have never had such a good sleep in my life. I stay where I lay without tossing and turning and find myself having the deepest sleep I've ever had. I recently went on an 11 day luxury trip where we stayed in some of the top hotels, and it was the first tirp I took where I was dissapointed in hotel beds! Mine at home was better!

We tried the other less expensive options and had to return them because they were so flimsy. The extra cost of a Tempur-Pedic is well worth it because you get a high quality product. We are enjoying ours and our sleep has improved overall.

First of all, let me start by saying how grateful and lucky I feel to be able to try out a mattress such as this one. I have always dreamed of one day owning one but could never quite afford it. Having poor blood circulation, RLS, and chronic lower back pain makes life hard, especially getting a good night's rest. I'm a firm believer that it is crucial to get enough sleep to function and live a healthy, active life. I always tossed and turned, and could never find a soft enough mattress to adapt to the high arch in my back and allow me to rest on my back for very long. My legs would go numb and throb to the point I would have to get up and walk around for awhile. This mattress truly came at a time in my life where I didn't even realize how much I needed this. The moment I first laid in it, I felt so much relief that I cannot even put into words. I had chills and truly felt like the weight had been lifted off of me. The way in which this mattress adapts and conforms to your body, is unlike any other. It fits like a glove. To be thoroughly honest, if you are like me and are desperate for something that will give you some much needed pressure relief after being on your feet all day, you will not be disappointed. I highly encourage you to invest in a mattress that will adapt to YOU! It is a decision you will wish you made alot sooner. I am forever grateful and soooo excited to get into bed every night!! I love my new Temperpedic mattress so far. I had previously owned a firm mattress. We decided to go with the soft this time because it felt so comfortable in the show room. My only concern is that it may become softer over time. The firm mattress we had for over 15 years. It was great! The reason we replaced it was because in a move, the moving people bent the mattress and created a "lump" in it. We purchased a platform for the new mattress instead of a box spring. Is this recommended?
