We have had our mattress for about 3 weeks and it has been a dream. It really holds your body and prevents much of the tossing and turning. The firm is not too hard and actually feels more like a medium. Maybe it is just me, but I have been dreaming like crazy! When I am out.....I don't move until the morning. Expensive, but worth the price. At first it was a little difficult to turn over, but once I figured it out.....all good. I was worried about the heat (live Hawaii),, but it is not a problem.

For years I have been testing tempurpedic mattresses in stores. I always thought to myself, "gee I don't want to spend that much on a mattress". Then my typical back aches that I usually get through having a larger chest and years of dancing got worse! I found myself going to the massage therapist more frequently. My family member suggested a purple mattress as being one of the best on the market in terms of comfort and price. I had the Purple for 1 night and I woke up with a back so achy that I could barely walk. I was told by the customer service rep. that I needed to "break in the mattress". It was the softest brand they had. I decided to return purple. I went to the mattress store and tried out the tempur-lux adapt soft and I wanted to fall asleep on the spot! I also tried the tempur cloud pillow which angle my head perfectly! I have had memory foam pillow in the past and I have always woke up with major neck pain! This was not the case with the tempur cloud pillow! I slept like a baby and bounced up out of bed ready to start the day! I was told that when I received the tempurluxe adapt mattress soft that it wouldn't be as form fitting as the one in the showroom was. This was an accurate statement. When I received the mattress it was firmer, but throughout the month I have had it it has loosened up. The break-in for the tempurluxeadapt was nothing like the Purple. I did not have any back issue with the tempurluxeadapt. It did it's job. I am so far extremely pleased with the product. My only concern is, will it last 10 years or more given the fact that I live in a very humid part of the country and my place does not have much insulation ? If this does not affect the mattress and if I get over 10 years out of the mattress before it begins to sink then I will be extremely pleased! So far I would say this is a great product and if you have back issues and you are on the fence about this item just purchase it! I even nick named the mattress fluffy! ;)

When we moved to our new home nearly 5 years ago we bought a top of the line mattress that we were just never comfortable on. I swear you could feel the coils. We decided to go with a tempur-pedic. Pricey for sure, but my husband was having pain in his shoulders after surgery so we splurged. Our sales person Kay was amazing as she helped us find the right bed for us. A few weeks in and we sleep sound and wake up with no pressure point pain at all. Hips, shoulders, back and knees feel great!

It is the perfect combination of plush and firm because it is more of a medium firm. You kind of just sink in just enough for it to mold to your shape and body. Every single person that has laid down on this mattresses wishes they had one themselves...true story. If you can afford it, don't even hesitate like I did. I have a herniated lumbar disc that is extremely annoying and affects every single aspect of my life and Tempur-Pedic has helped me with my back pain and with the quality of sleep. I LOVE my mattress.

I get sleep to be able to be my best self at work. This bed is worth all the money I spent on it. I will never buy another bed again unless it's a tempurpedic.

Also great flexibility on waiting until white glove delivery was again available in my area due to CoVid-19.

This is a very nice mattress. My wife LOVES it. I only "like" it. It's my feeling that I'm too heavy for it. I get uncomfortable over time. I think it's because I sink thru the jell and am resting on the base layer. My wife is lighter and seems to float better. For the price (which is exorbitant), I would choose another model or firmness. Frankly, I've slept on WAY cheaper mattresses which were better suited for me. We have the middle-of-the-line adjustable base. It's very nice and works as advertised. If I had it to do over, I would have gone for the base model. The store automatically sold us this one without asking and we forgot while shopping. We thought about it later, but decided not to bother changing the order.

My wife and I got our mattress 2 days ago and we've had 2 of the worst nights of sleep that we've had in a very long time. This mattress is supposed to be soft but it's extremely hard and you can't get comfortable laying on it and it's supposed to keep you cool but my legs were very warm so I had to sleep without a sheet over me.. I guess we are stuck with this horrible mattress for 30 days before we can get something else. One other thing I never realized was the edge has no support at all so it's a bit hard to sit on the edge comfortably.

Just received the mattress today and am seriously worried I may not be able to sleep in it. How can "soft" feel so firm. I prefer soft mattresses and have never been able to sleep in a firm bed. Other than that I love TempurPedic. This mattress is a warranty trade.

Beware that if you are transitioning from a softer mattress like I am, you will need to take time to adjust. Firm absolutely means firm for this mattress. However after you lay down you will slowly feel yourself sink into the memory foam of the mattress and its supports your body. My previous mattress always left me feeling as if I needed more sleep. I wake up now more refreshed and ready for the day. I haven't had any back issues since using this. I may get a topper to add a little more cushion but over great quality, delivery was fast and efficient and absolutely a great mattress to have!
