We went through a number of mattresses before we stumbled upon this one. We were hesitant at first because it was more expensive, but in the end, it has been worth every single penny. Never in my life have I slept on anything so comfortable. Every other bed apart from this gives me an awful backache. I love this mattress!!! My husband and I literally get so excited to get home to our bed after we travel anywhere. It is amazing. It take a little to adjust to it, but you will seriously not be disappointed.

Bed is very comfortable and has helped quite a bit with my back pain, however I feel myself feeling very hot with this bed. I usually run 'hot' anyhow so this is a bit of an issue with me since often it can feel like there is an electric blanket under me...my wife loves it though. That's my only complaint is I wish the mattress felt cooler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a very particular (and by that I mean odd) person in that I wanted a mattress that was firm enough so that it felt like I was on top of it, not in it, and at the same time I wanted it to be comfortable. I didn't expect this mattress to fit the bill so perfectly. I'm guessing because of the whatever-its-called technology of the top layer, it contours around your body creating this nice cushion effect. But I still feel like I'm on top of the bed, not sinking in, and it's very comfortable sleeping on my back. I actually woke up once sleeping on my side, and I didn't have the pain in my arm and shoulder that I had with my previous mattress. But I'd still suggest with going with the soft version of this mattress if you're a side sleeper because it still wasn't super comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this mattress for back or stomach (though you really shouldn't do this) sleepers... assuming you have cash to burn. Or a good night's rest, and the highest possible quality mattress, is just worth the cost.

I recently replaced my celebrity tempurpedic bed with the new tempurpedic luxe adapt for my back. I injured my back and needed more support for my lower back. This bed has changed my life by alleviating my pain. I now wake up pain free and refreshed! I should have done this a long time ago it's really that good!!

Our old tried and true Tempurpedic mattress lasted over 15 years before it finally began to show our body indents. I was skeptical when we first got that mattress that it wouldn't make much difference in relieving my back pain as it usually would take my back a good 20 minutes to relax and stop hurting. Thankfully, I was really so wrong; from the first night it was great and I was sold on Tempurpedic for life! Fast forward to our new Tempur-LuxeAdapt Firm mattress and from our new very first night, I'm still sleeping like a happy baby and I'm spoiled for life----but in a good way!

I've enjoyed the mattress & have slept great since day 1. I have had a few shoulder problems from a old injury. I am pleased that the mattress has been fabulous and I get a great night sleep. True they are expensive; however, isn't a great night sleep every night worth it?

We were told this mattress was 3 degrees cooler than the others. Well I don't think so! I have sweated more with this mattress than I have with any other. I do love the adjusting base however can't get comfortable yet we have had it for 1 week now and I haven't found my spot yet! But I'm very disappointed in the cooling function.

I had scoliosis and then had the spinal fusion surgery to correct my Scoliosis. The majority of my back is fused which is great except when it comes to sleep. I've had issues for the past 5 years since having surgery with multiple mattresses and my overall sleep. Where my low-back is fused I've had nagging pain. Once I started sleeping on my LuxeAdapt mattress I've experienced zero lowback pain. The mattress truly does mold to your body, alleviating pressure points!

My husband wanted to just get a new mattress, I wanted a Tempurpedic. My husband was reluctant, but agreed. The delivery team were amazing, came in set up everything and got rid of the old in no time at all. Sleeping on it... day 1: husband "likes" new mattress, day 5: husband tells me that new mattress is the best purchase we have made including our honeymoon XD I love the support of the firm mattress, and the "squish" the lux has to the very top layer so you still feel that foam contour to you. We use the new base to sit up and relax Saturday morning. My back doesn't hurt all day, and neither does Husband's.
