We have owned this bed since May 2023. It has a long break-in period. The mattress is still stiff and does not contour to the positions the Tempurpedic adjustable base is placed. Due to my wife's light weight it stays stiff instead of bending. We live in Hawaii so cold temperatures are not relevant.

We made quite a few visits to Tempurpedic showrooms. I wanted a firm bed but this model feels softer than expected. It is called a "firm" but the Luxe Adapt has an extra layer on the top of the bed which makes it feel softer to me. When shopping for the mattress, I liked the feel of the Pro Adapt Firm. It does not have the extra layer on top and it costs less. Salespeople suggested the Pro Adapt Firm would be too firm for a side sleeper giving pressure to shoulders, hips and knees. So, I was swayed a bit by the salespeople and bought the Luxe Adapt. It's a good bed and we get a decent nights sleep. But, it just feels too soft. By the way, the delivery, installation and take of the old mattress was perfect.

I have always wanted a Tempurpedic mattress, but never knew if it was worth the cost since they can be rather costly. I believe a good night's rest is very important for everyday functioning, and I don't think I realized how badly I needed this until after I had slept in it for a week and noticed the difference in how my body felt. My chronic lower back pain and restless leg syndrome are progressively getting worse for me, and my blood circulation is not great so I need a soft mattress. I have never been able to find one soft enough or suitable for all of my needs. There are many nights I had to get up and walk around because my legs would go numb and throb/ache and I would toss and turn it was so uncomfortable. I lost many hours of sleep due to this, but not anymore! Now I can sleep on both of my sides as well as my back without it hurting! The TempurLUXE-Adapt mattress is the top tier of the adapt collection, and is designed to give you maximum pressure relief and is 30% more conforming to your body. This mattress is 13" in height, cool to the touch, and has a removable and washable cover. It has an ergonomic support layer with 5 zones that contours to your body to give you maximum ergonomic support. I was very impressed with their exemplary customer service and the fast shipping/delivery process, leaving me completely satisfied with the whole experience! This is an investment which in my opinion is well worth it, especially if you are struggling to get a good night's rest or have some physical or medical issues which make it difficult or uncomfortable to sleep. I feel very blessed beyond words to have this opportunity to try one of these mattresses, and if/when the time comes to get a new one, I will definitely make the investment to get a Tempurpedic! Do yourself a favor and spoil yourself a little, your body will thank you later!

I've now had my mattress 7 months and it is NOTHING like it was at the store. When I tested the mattress at the store it was like sleeping on a cloud. I fell in love. My mattress is somewhat firm and now has a dip in the middle. Super uncomfortable and I wake up stiff and sore every morning and get the worst sleep. I do not recommend this mattress.

WE'VE SLEPT ON IT FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND IT STILL FEELS LIKE NEW. THE ADJUSTABLE BASE HAS NOT AFFECTED THE SHAPE AT ALL. WHAT I DISLIKE THE MOST IS THE FACT THAT I HAVE TO GET UP!! THANK YOU. P.C.

Bought a Luxe-adapt king mattress in June at an authorized Tempurpedic dealer. I informed the salesperson of my health issues and he suggested that the Luxe-adapt soft would be my best choice. After two months of use, my back became so bad I could barely crawl out of bed. I called Tempurpedic and spoke with a "Sleep Expert" and was told that I never should have bought the soft mattress and I need to return it for a "firm". It's now been a month with the firm mattress and my back has gotten worse. I moved into my guest bedroom with a standard mattress and have no issues with pain. I called the head of customer support and was told that they wouldn't do a thing for me. I was told to have my lawyer contact their legal Department and then he hung up on me. This is a very bad product from an even worse Company.

After sleeping in my recliner most nights the past couple of years because of an early age dislocated shoulder that has deteriorated over the past 55 years, I am finally able to sleep comfortably all night long, including on the afore-mentioned shoulder. I am so pleased to wake up and not feel sleep deprived any longer. Although priced higher than many mattresses, essential sleep is worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a new mom and have had a lot of back & hip pain postpartum plus trouble sleeping in general. After switching to this mattress I already feel like a new human! I was a little nervous about the firmness but it really molds to my body easily. I move around quite a bit and it will only take a few seconds to readjust to my new position and hug my body perfectly. I no longer wake up with hip or back pain & I also feel like I am more rested even when I don't actually sleep a full night sleep. I feel like I've been dreaming more which means I'm spending more time in the restorative REM cycle sleep. Amazing a mattress can do all that and this new mom is very happy!

Best mattress I've ever owned period. Had another Temper-pedicure that lasted me 15 years and I never thought it would get better than that. Then comes along the Luxeadapt and I was wrong. My only minor gripe would be that it gets VERY hot. Small price to pay for sleeping on a cloud.

After a month of researching mattresses (tons of other brands, plus the Tempurs) I decided upon the LuxeAdapt Soft-it was delivered & set up yesterday & I could not be happier. Our previous (expensive) mattress sunk like the Titanic after 10 years-literally, one side & then the other so we were sleeping in a hammock. I sleep on my side, I was convinced that I had restless leg syndrome or something, I definitely have skin pressure issues & had lower back surgery 12 yrs ago, so I'm all over the place all night. Last night, for the first time in years, I basically slept in one spot without turning over every hour because of hip pain. I believe I turned over one time. Unbelievable. So far it's 2 thumbs up.
