Bought the top of the line Adapt mattress and it has literally destroyed my back. I am now sleeping on my downstairs sofa (and getting a pain free night's sleep) since the horrible customer service has refused to fix the problem. Don't waste your money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Tempur-pedic adapt soft mattress to test and review. Couldn't have come at a better time as I was in the market to replace my prior memory foam mattress that I purchased around three years ago. We have been having a struggle with the mattress we currently had so was thrilled with the opportunity to test out a Tempur-pedic. My fiance has been a Tempur-pedic customer for the past 20 years and was in the market for a replacement as well. Considering the cost of mattresses, when I purchased a new house and needed a one, I went for a comparable mattress. I went with a Serta memory foam that turned into a nightmare! Neither my fiance, or I could sleep comfortably on that mattress. Upon arrival of the Tempur-pedic adapt mattress, I initially noticed a difference in the thickness. The height profile is lower than the one I had previously which takes a bit of getting used to. The mattress sleeps better than the one I had previously, however, I'm still not sold on a memory foam type of a mattress. Time will tell as I know it takes a while for a mattress to "break in". I am a side sleeper and find that it Isn't the best option for me, along with the fact that it sleeps hot. My fiance loves the mattress and has been able to sleep comfortably at my place when he visits when previously he would get up and go to another room for lack of comfort on the old mattress. I would say that I'm still able to sleep better on this mattress and it was better than I expected, considering I'm not used to memory foam yet.

Received a king size luxeAdapt for my master bedroom after owning an older tempurpedic model for the last 10 years. We've always loved our old mattress, but were itching to find out how much the technology has improved. The LuxeAdapt is miles beyond what we expected. Firm, without feeling like I'm sleeping on a slab, soft enough to hold our natrual curves but not so soft that you feel like you can't get out of bed without six-pack abs. We've now had it for a couple of months and I have to peel myself out of bed every morning. Conversely, if I'm feeling well-rested, I have the energy to spring right out without having to tenderly stretch out all my body parts and pray something didn't get strained in the middle of the night. Low maintenance, high comfort, and near instant sleep once my head hits the pillow. Couldn't be happier.

Do not buy from temperpedic. The new lineup of beds they offer are no longer of the same quality they use to provide. There are many other options from other companies that are by far superior than temperpedic. It's sad because they use to provide a great product. Unfortunately those days are gone.

I don't think there is anything I want to say about that matters is enough, I love it I can't get enough of sleeping on this matters it's really good and comfortable and the left is great to take out all your back pain I will like to get one to each of my kids.

My wife and I decided to purchase a new mattress (TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt) and not only I am getting a better night sleep but the lower back pain has completely gone way! I am now back to an active life style, I have lost undesired weight and I have more energy. It's incredible how highly underrated a good mattress is. Do yourself a favor and get a new mattress, your quality of life will improve.

Honestly, I had purchased the Luxe Soft. It was a good mattress, but after only 15 months, it broke down in the center. Their warranty department did finally warranty it after about 20 pictures and 15 emails. Then I went to one of their stories and laid on all the beds...they recommended that I do this, which I agree with. The hybrid med with springs seems to be the best! Boy, was I wrong!! I can't even sleep on it as it is so hard! So I have zero sleep, a mattress I spent over 3000 on, and no refunds! All I want is my money back to get a comfortable bed!! If the first one didn't break down, and have to be warranted I would say it was ok-I honestly thought Tempurpedic would take care of me as a customer and they guarantee the best night sleep or do they?

I have been sleeping on this mattress for a little over 2 weeks now and I've been amazed at the quality of sleep I've been getting. My previous mattress was extremely well-made and comfortable, but I got rid of it after only one night sleeping on my Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt. I'm a side + stomach sleeper, so I opted for the firm mattress and I couldn't be happier. I've been experiencing the best sleep I've ever had and I wake up every morning refreshed and ready to conquer the day.

Another thing I love about this mattress is that it has one-of-a-kind motion cancellation technology - I always get an uninterrupted, peaceful night's sleep every single night. I could literally have a 400-pound man jumping up and down on my bed while I slept and I wouldn't even feel it.
Also, I didn't even realize I had heat management issues with my previous mattresses until I had my first night on my Tempur-Pedic. This mattress is equipped with a SmartClimate dual cover system and is a total game changer for those who enjoy a nice, cool-to-touch mattress to sleep on. Definitely recommend this mattress to anyone in the market.

This is a very nice mattress. My wife LOVES it. I only "like" it. It's my feeling that I'm too heavy for it. I get uncomfortable over time. I think it's because I sink thru the jell and am resting on the base layer. My wife is lighter and seems to float better. For the price (which is exorbitant), I would choose another model or firmness. Frankly, I've slept on WAY cheaper mattresses which were better suited for me. We have the middle-of-the-line adjustable base. It's very nice and works as advertised. If I had it to do over, I would have gone for the base model. The store automatically sold us this one without asking and we forgot while shopping. We thought about it later, but decided not to bother changing the order.

My husband and I were debating what kind of new mattress we should get and he told me he always wanted to try a Tempurpedic. I was a little hesitant but have not been disappointed for 1 minute! We melt into bed every night and get extra sleep which with a newborn is priceless!
