I had scoliosis and then had the spinal fusion surgery to correct my Scoliosis. The majority of my back is fused which is great except when it comes to sleep. My husband wanted to just get a new mattress, I wanted a Tempurpedic. My husband was reluctant, but agreed. The delivery team were amazing, came in set up everything and got rid of the old in no time at all. Sleeping on it... day 1: husband "likes" new mattress, day 5: husband tells me that new mattress is the best purchase we have made including our honeymoon XD I love the support of the firm mattress, and the "squish" the lux has to the very top layer so you still feel that foam contour to you. We use the new base to sit up and relax Saturday morning. My back doesn't hurt all day, and neither does Husband's.

After 14 years of lots of use, including a nice bed for the dogs, it has finally had its day. I bought it after I broke my leg and couldn't stand the buttons on my BeautyRest. I chose the mattress because it had no buttons and what the advertising said. I would gladly have spent the rest of my life on it as it got me through a broken femur, a broken arm, a broken foot, and many other illnesses. I originally bought the Pro Adapt Firm and it was very hard and I could not sleep on it. I was so worried about choosing a replacement. I didn't want to get another uncomfortable mattress but I also didn't want to get a softer mattress than I intended because i was scared. I went to numerous stores and studied the layers and finally decided on the Luxe Adapt Firm. It is perfect. Feels firm and support yet soft. I don't want to get out of bed.

We finally saved up to buy this expensive Extra Large Twin Tempur LuxAdapt Soft because we also bought the adjustable twin base. We are individually so happy with the mattresses because they fit our bodies perfectly. The mattresses keep our bodies cool, comfortable and we are able to sleep longer too. Best purchase ever.

So when it was time to upgrade, we thought we would try some of the newer brands being advertised but NOTHING compared to the comfort and quality of Tempur-Pedic. We absolutely love our new King bed with the luxurious Ergo 2.0 base. With our aging bodies, with the added stresses of life and working out, we could not compromise comfort and quality sleep. We highly recommend this mattress. We also loved the Cooling version, however I have a medical condition called Ehlers Danlos (EDS) which causes chronic pain and feel elevated pain when my body temperature is too cold. This mattress is a dream to support and ease the pain, along with the massage from the base.

We have had this mattress for almost a month now and it has been disappointing to say the least. The first week it was warmer out and I woke up sweating with a neck ache. My wife has been complaining about her back non-stop. For this price I expected much more. Customer service was horrible as well wanting me to stand up the mattress against an open window. Really? In less than a week I can start the return process.
